really good play, after the start i did not think maru would win but the tech from dark is kinda ...meh i guess vs someone who has such good micro with big armies.
Someone try to explain to me please why a Zerg would ever try to keep protecting his bases when he's spread out so wide against a Terran who is CLEARLY the best player at multi-tasking (drops, multi-pronged attacks). Like seriously, what the hell was Dark's game plan?

RIMMER: What are you waiting for? Gloop him. LISTER: I can't. He's not armed. RIMMER: Lister, this isn't a Scout meeting. We're not trying to win the Best- Behaved Troop flag. Gloop him. LISTER: What? In the back? RIMMER: Of course in the back. It's only a pity he's awake. LISTER: You mean you could happily kill him if he was asleep? RIMMER: I could happily kill him if he was on the job. Gloop him.

TY is on a huge losing streak in PL and got to the GSL finals mostly with tvt
It's funny how different the crowd is in comparison to the first match. Freecs vs. CJ Entus had so little cheering, just one person trying to lead a CJ chant and no one piping up for Freecs.

eh, fair, but still Maru/TY are the only terrans you'd jump to put in a top 5 list- and the fact that TY is fringe top-tier only proves my point further. Sure Dream and Cure and even Bunny are good, but they're far from OP. It's just Maru, and sometimes TY.

You underestimate Noonius. Even if Terran was doing terrible and only Maru was ever winning he'd take a nerf so Maru stops winning.
got here a minute ago and fuck i missed maru and dark because i forgot there was a second thingy on tonight.... fuark, could have gotten back into sc2. Oh well.
Also, classic looks like shit from the brief bit I've watched.

TY played vs Dark last week and Dark did basically the same thing and won. Safe for the hidden base. Although TY gibbed himself by making tanks over mines.

So when you know he is making that shit you make window mines and win easily. Dark too complacent I guess, as most Z.

Rogue is one of I think 2 Zerg players with a winning record against soO. So he's got that going for him.

That's true, but keep in mind that soO still crushed him when they last played in Proleague back when soO was at the height of his ZvZ hotstreak so it's not like Rogue has his number too hugely or anything.

Yeah but that was one of his only wins against Rogue at all. 7-3 for Rogue against soO is pretty impressive considering the next best is fucking Symbol at 4-2.

Trap is pretty on and off. One week he loses to TY, then he looks like a complete idiot and sacrifices 30 adepts against TaeJa, and then he convincingly beats TY. Trap can't decide if he wants to be great or just okay.

Soo went Bane-nest before 3rd Hatch whereas Rogue went Bane-nest after - with the bo advantage and solid maneuvering and control, Rogue easily closed it out
I wonder what Trap was thinking when he decided to force the issue after killing all those SCVs - it was so obvious that Dream's only play at that point was sitting back and accumulating Libs with no gas for Armory gearing up for one push - Trap couldve easily taken a 4th at that time while making Templar Archives..

Completely understandable. I'd be pretty pissed if KT ends up losing to Afreeca tomorrow too. They've been sucking it pretty hard this round of PL yet they got 3 different players to be in the finals of Korean Individual leagues.
I just love sexy Rogue boy ... he is such a cool guy!!! His ceremonies do not have a weak point. Can't wait to watch it once again tonight when the VODs are out :-)
And thanks Bomber for giving me back the one point from my antiteam ... without my anti, I would be on the 4th place ... so next time ...

Right now I'm still okay with KT because they've not started losing to worse teams yet. They better not dare lose to the Afreecas and MVPs of this world.
Although I'd appreciate it if KT players would stop derping in Proleague.

Judging by just today and the current meta, it is always a good strategy to field a protoss. SKT vs JAGW and Afreeca vs CJ, Protoss has won 100% of the games played.

At least in Proleague it makes sense to vote for Protoss
Judging by the apples that were hanging in my house today, 100% of apples were rotten. Very productive to do statistics over two matches.
That is why i wrote the words TODAY and current meta. But you could have also clicked the link, which are the PL statistics of the whole round, where its still favorable to vote for toss (60% winrate or so). So... you were saying?

I clicked the link, and I saw that. I was commenting of the relevancy of using today's statistics, since they basically show nothing relevant.

You want what, stats for the entire season so you could use it the next season when maybe there will be a balance patch hitting? :D.
You can't have big enough sample size in sc2 anyways and you don't need stats anyways to see patterns since... There is not a lot of data anyways so you can manually draw the conclusions you want.

Because Trap was very far ahead indeed? After the successful adept drop Dream was screwed, forced to sit out on 3 bases while trying to deny Trap's fourth, Trap failed a bit but a Dream win would have been hella surprising.

what was the longest PL SC2 streak?
Don't know :/ Elentos where are you?
I looked into it a bit. From what I've found, the longest streak including playoff games and such was INnoVation with 13 consecutive games won (there was a break in between because of his run with Acer). The longest streak excluding playoffs that I've found besides Maru's was Zest last year who also won 10 round robin games in a row (he was actually 2 losses away from having a longer streak than INnoVation, if he won those 2 games he would have won 19 Proleague games in a row).
So basically Maru is a win away from being the sole holder of the record if you ignore playoffs. Unless I missed someone, but I'm pretty sure I covered the best PL players (herO's best streak was 9 RR games).

Well for BW I just went to the TLPD for Flash and set it to team leagues, then it showed me his best streak and I checked it for playoff games. I just assumed he had the longest streak, didn't check anyone else tbh. It's entirely possible Bisu or someone else had an even longer streak in PL.
