DRG made 6-10 drones 30sec before he died. I think thats what killed him. Few spines at the 3rd would have helped him a lot.

that seras game is the perfect example of why zergs stopped blind 3h before pool with triangle 3rds, if one goes hatch gas pool or hatch pool hatch one can take the horizontal 3rd instead and avoid the blink stalker issue. that game looked like a classic 3 month old ladder game tbh >_<

yeah, the other third would have been better. But you should eventually win with 3 bases against 2, the stalker ball doesn't get scary until you reach max with roaches.
he reason he didn't was that he was severely underdroned. Which he realized mid battle himself and made 6 drones or so. But that was too late.

DRG defended like a boss initially though. Looked like he was going to win until he made a few more drones and made some mistakes. More lings and ravagers might have worked better maybe.. but definitely not drones. Zerg doesn't have to drone any further vs a 2base protoss no matter what because the P main is running at 50% or 0% eventually ~

if you go blind horizontal 3 hatch you'll expand into your opponent worst case. either that, or you'll delay your 3rd hatch so much (in wait for the vertical overlord scout) that you might as well go hatch pool hatch >_>
