Protoss don't get a third for free any more, because Adepts were nerfed, and the huge map control gained from Adept drop builds isn't as much of a factor, Terran has more flexibility in the mid game.


look at this series and byun vs sOs... proxy robo, proxy stargate, fast 3rd/4th, adept drop, blink stalker, DT drop, double stargate...

and terran has what? single or double widow mine drop that will net you 5 workers if you're lucky with a few liberators depending on your opponent not paying attention to the worker line?

tvp is imbalanced because of the huge arch of possibilities that protoss has, not because of the units themselves. especially in a bo5/bo7 where you can bring out the full arsenal
