Tbh, HyuN has a good shot against dream. A guy who knows only roach against a guy coming from the team that never had of roach (judging by S2SL games today). In current meta this can't end well for dream.

Well, we know it's happening at some point. I heard in December it was supposed to start in January, so we'll see. Keep in mind Proleague finished way later in 2015 than usual and 2 of their potential 8th team candidates just died on them. I'm willing to give them a bit more time. Not too much though

Yeah, last year I was more into SSL, it was just all around better. This year it's looking like it's going back to GSL being superior.

I haven't followed the pro scene in a long time. It looks like they extremely simplified the Code A / Code S format... so Code A is basically a prelim to Code S now? Didn't it used to be essentially a parallel league that ran at the same time as Code S, and then players moved up/down based on their performance in the previous season?

Basically, yes. They use Code A as a prelim now to be in line with the WCS system.

I believe top 8 gets seeded into Code S. (it was like that in 2015 at least)
Top 4 was for SSL.

True but whilst i was typing it i thought it is only 2 seasons of Code S this year right? Maybe they will change it up to a pure qualifier format due to how long between Code S we will get?

Alive playing really well to the map. 9 out of 10 times zerg will do some sort of early push on that map, fast lings, fast roaches/ravagers or even a baneling bust. So just defend the first attack, then counter-attack to take the game

This format is the way to do it as well. Play a bo5 series, interview the player then have a 5-10minute break. No breaks inbetween games etc just straight bo5 > interview > break.

positioning is still very important, you just have to reposition faster. and the marines can still stim up to tankivacs because of the delay tanks have before shooting, at least in certain situations (mainly when boost is already gone). Either you boost in and then drop, but if you did it wrong you will most certainly lose a lot. With recurring scans you can't just fly in without boost just to have a backup plan.

Yeah I actually still believe in Dream. He is very fast and has good multitasking and micro, LotV should suit him. Although the roach style Hyun loves got a lot stronger with ravagers, Dream should outplay him with medivacs.

I also don't eat that much fast food either and the point of being able to go to a Pub/Bar/Bistro/SportsBar and get a burger chips for similar price is true but then that is not fast food. I can't drive my car through the pub and within 50 seconds be at the other end driving to my house with my food :3

McDonalds in America is 3x the size of anything in England so i guess you get more for your "buck" ($) in America so might make it more worth it. However there is a million different fast food outlets justs as good as McDonalds in America too.

it would be a very gimmicky nerf. Starcraft shouldn't have too many special rules IMO. A good game is consistent with its mechanics.

No, bio + tank counters maxed out Ravagers pretty hard when you get +160 supply with 7-8 tanks. Especieally with good siege tank pick up which we know Dream is capable of.
The only reason Zergs go for Ravager + Roach is that they can kill terrans who take a 3rd when at someone like 160 vs 120 supply.

When the huge engagement near HyuN's main happened HyuN was left with about 1 base economy but 60+ roaches. Bad economy and bad composition. All Dream needed was a good defense.

Well he played on auto-pilot. If he had a proper medivac count (and Hyun didn't have Corrupters), the attack would basically be risk-free. In this specific case, he was commited to the attack though, and should have realized that the risk/reward was terrible.
Hyun also played on auto-pilot when attacking a 2-base terran for no reason.

I learned so many timings and position a terran player can do. Koreans really know how to exploit the weaknesses of opponents race and meta game.
As a Zerg I fear to play ladder against terran now more. Some tank position they showed are really tough to beat. A little reminder of old Lost Temple in Wings of Liberty 
I think best way to play against terran now is pushing with roach ravager timings, because they have bad defense currently. Terran players don't get attacked often so they did not gather enough experience to deal with it. Game 4 was very good example of what I mean.
(This is no balance whine my friends. Only looking at game what happened. Zerg now need to adept to nasty terran timings and prepare for future GSL with better skill and experience play )

In my personal opinion I did expect HyuN to win yes. I watched some incredible matches of him lately that showed great control in both micro and macro. Today he was not so good especially in game 5

There was one ZvT he played like god on earth. I don't remember it, but he played so perfectly like I haver seen in that match. He didn't lose no nothing and defend terran agression and super dominated game with smart choices and great control.

I mean they kinda justified it by saying that him being super good online doesn't have to translate to him performing as well offline. And soO is still soO so ByuN making it look that easy is not something that should have happened.
