These days, it's simply the similarity in practically most of the world. The problem is that quality isn't what it used to be, but there are countries with better ones. Well, my experience is with immense lines that take just as long for me to get to my food as it would at some random grill.

ooooh thanks, yeah that makes a lot more sense now. the first McDonald's in Austria opened in like the 90s or something, didn't realise it had been around for that long.
