To be fair, I agree with Drogo and NightEnd that doing "player introductions" every game and calling out the spawning positions is kind of annoying and unnecessary. Felt that way for a while. Just introduce them in the first game of every match and then in the subsequent games briefly comment on "So drogo spawns in X corner this game while NightEnd spawns Y" or something

Exactly man, after like 3083197863 of SC2 games, it really is boring, but whatever.. From time to time you could announce it, or if it is some really hyped up final, otherwise it´s just a time filler and unecessary.

I think it's for the audio only listeners.

I don't really care but it is indeed weird to insist on doing that in a tournament like HSC

Not everyone is as familair with the game or watches it for the entire weekend. There are plenty of newcomers that drop in for a little while.

My impression after watching many games at HSC is that LotV is light years away from being balanced. It is entirely possible for lesser known players like Dayshi, Firecake and Elazer to defeat players who are leaps and bounds better than them.

If it's for new people then not so obvious things should be highlighted, like map features
