Teeny tiny changes in the last game and it could've ended when Life bust the natural the first or second time.

And we had so many different winners. Different styles, different names. It's really interesting that it's not dominated by 1 strategy, I think it's the diversity of Protoss. THey can do so many things that you cannot prepare against race, you have to prepare against the player. Where Protoss players can prepare against Terran/Zerg. OR maybe I am too tired and writing BS

Matches can be epic for different reasons. Long macro games give you that "slow burn" epicness where both players are building up and trying to find incremental advantages; but short, back and forth games with all-ins and timing attacks are nice for the clutch starsense and micro. Like, when you know the stakes are high and the player has put everything on the line, and needs to win it all with just a handful of zerglings, that's epic too. So props to both Life and sOs, ggs, and gl in LotV!
(also, did anyone else get flashbacks to the Life/Parting GSL final where the last map was also Iron Fortress, and Life again did an early zergling rush? I wonder if sOs remembered....)
