Why wouldn't they do it like last time right before BlizzCon ?

I doubt it, I think it'd be kind of cheap. Also not on-location, and they were big on that in 2013

Yeah, such a shame that a double WCS finalist (and winner) is qualified for the WCS finals.

Haha well I don't know if that's sarcasm or not. I wasn't sure if Hyun was still in NA or not. Of course it makes sense if they're both there. They brought Naniwa and Revival out to Blizzcon for their tiebreaker though I thought.

The joke of the system is that fantasy and hyun are even playing for spots in the first place

The people who are getting in due to flaws in Blizzard's system are Hyun and fantasy despite doing poorly across the board in the main WCS events (GSL and SSL). Lilbow is in based on his success in WCS regardless of who is better that is how Blizzard wants it to be. What makes me the most sad is that someone like Dark who is one of the few to make all 6 Starleagues is out and Hyun or Fanta is in

It's kind of terrible to "reward" the top ranked player of the entire season by being the only player without a known match-up. I'd be a little upset if I were herO.

How so? Blizzard decided to give third party tournaments wcs points, this isn't a flaw, this rewards consistency throughout the year. The only flaw is that most people don't play in most tournaments, but i guess there is no way to solve that problem

I don't think he has to worry too much about facing HyuN or FanTasy though. But yeah, I thought about it earlier.

Yeah if it was Dark vs Dear or something that would suck but herO should be comfortable beating either one of these guys

I agree with this but at the same time herO is a league better than both of them and everyone involved is practicing for two matches. Its not like one of the potential 16th place players gets the same match up again versus herO.

Yeah, such a shame that a double WCS finalist (and winner) is qualified for the WCS finals.

The shame isn't in a double WCS finalist attending Blizzcon, the shame is in WCS being region locked.

to be fair both players are easy walkovers, and they'll focus on preparing their opponent, not herO. I think herO is pretty okay with the situation when you think he could have gotten Dark.
