The player Lilbow is most likely to pass is Dark and SKT isn't letting Dark go to Dreamhack even though he's not in SSL or GSL. They're probably keeping him in KR for the proleague finals but they're starting Billowy and they still have Classic, Innovation, Dream, and soO on the bench so essentially they're just assholes who don't want their players to have individual success

(better units also) ...hydra overreacted so much he was pretty much counter-all in with his economy. he 'won easily' because he made the perfect strategic decisions all through the game after realising warp prism was scouted whereas hydra didn't. anyway congrats lilbow, such a great series to watch!

Idra has 2 championships (MLG/IEM) to Jinro's 1 IIRC. And then Jinro has the greatest foreigner placement in GSL and coming within 1 game in countless code A qualifiers from being the first. Jinro fell off harder but was much better than idra Idra's peak also came at a time where maps were terribly imbalanced against zerg. Close position metalopolis, Jungle basin, bunker/pylon blocks on ramps. This is all stuff that plagued Idra. Xelnaga caverns or Shakuras were arguably the best map in the pool. I sometimes wonder how well Zergs could have done if we had today's maps in WoL. Idra or Leenock might have actually won a GSL. Nestea was some kind of God.

Yup, but it's likely he won't even be fielded against KT given that they're putting Billowy out first so they'd rather have him sit on their bench looking pretty than giving him a chance at Blizzcon

Jinro fell off harder but was much better than idra To clarify myself, Jinro's achievements are still sick solid, I still remember when my jaw fell on the floor the moment he beat MC. But if you add online tourneys results Idra also won way more stuff other than being good in GSL. The foreign tourneys vs korean placements is what makes the Naniwa/Stephano debate impossible to solve, but personally I don't believe it applies to Idra/Jinro's one because either did solid well in GSL, but only one made something happen elsewhere.
