I really like both these teams so I don't mind who wins. I just hope the games are really good.
I like watching innovation and Dream , they are inspiring to watch when they are on form and I think they will put in excellent performances today.
A few great players aren't in the match today (Maru, Dark) but that is because both teams have exceptionally talented rosters. That being said I am surprised Dark isn't playing because I don't think he has any big tournaments left.
Perhaps Maru just needs some time off from SPL. Sure he was up against ByuL ZvT last week, but he also managed to look mediocre compared to his usual standard.

Yeah he reason sOs stayed in the game as long as he could. Can't defend the push though when warping in stalkers because no charge xD
As much as I hate to admit it, SKT is looking crazily good this round. And the fact that it happens even with slumping Dark and INnoVation is even more impressive

Dream is crazy good, Classic and soO are doing well and they got a real depth. At least 5 players that are legit contenders to be a starter in any team when in-form and some decent back up (sorry). + players like impact/billowy for training partners, it's not bad at all.

vs majority Firebear army vs 2 window mines he cannot see but knows are there. He had no chance without charge, the best he could do was try and buy time but he couldn't buy enough

If he'd microed his colossi and stalkers better he'd have had a good shot at winning. Charge zealots don't exist against widow mines.

How does one micro vs firebears though with that army u need the zealots to buffer them away. His colli insta die if he tries to engage no?

What the fuck is a Firebear army?
The cool name for Marauders?
That make sense. It can't possibly be a gay firebat, can it?
Worst engagement i have ever seen. He looked the bigger army...he walks into sieged unsieged which fair enough. Then he sieges as the medivacs run over them and boom 50 supply disappears

Well, it's tough because TvT is so drastically different between early/mid and lategame aswell as when there's mech involved. Maru's definitely up there in marine/tank but I've not seen him a lot vs mech and in late game which is where players like Flash and INnoVation really hit their stride.

Last year it didn't really matter as the team fell into a slump the last few months and just played uninspired and bad Starcraft until they lost in the finals

Yeah. That was very contrary to the SKT trend. They usually bog down in round 3 and have a nice round 4 comeback towards the end and then have an exciting playoffs. I think it was a combination of poor coaching and the players the left burned out from the SKT house atmosphere. You can really see the new SKT lineup is filled with very motivated players.

Would be funnier if it was Prime though.
I would call matchfixing!
Yeah Prime needs the luck of a professional Hearthstone player to get enough winnable matchups for that to happen. If SKT decides to field Billowy, Zoun, Sorry and Impact I'd probably still favour SKT~

Fielding Zoun and Billowy against prime would be cruel and unusual punishment. But yea SKT would be vastly favored with those 4. At least 3-1 (I'd expect Zoun to lose)
Also it looks like SKT has locked themselves in for the playoffs as there aren't 4 teams other teams that could go 5-2
