Maru showed vs top protosses that his TvP is awesome. Yes, he lost today to HerO, but you can't have 100% winrate all the time. Dream << Maru. And no, I am not Maru fan, I am Life fan. Maru was #1 before today. Dream just moving up the ratings because he's 7-1 in offline TvP so far this month. His win rate in TvP in the last year is actually higher than Maru's but Maru's 2 most faced opponents are herO and PartinG who he's 11-13 and 7-15 against respectively so I'm sure that has some effect. I still think Maru is the better of the two. Dream just happens to be higher rated at the time | ||

If it was almost any other player instead of Life, they would have followed up with a hatchery first, not a 9 pool. So that was actually pretty smart from Dream. | ||

Bittersweet day for me Actually before Maru started his recent unstoppable form against protoss, TvP was his big weakness, he kept getting sniped in TvP during proleague. Dream has a much more standard TvP and is the best in terms of understanding the matchup, and has incredible ghost control Maru's TvP is insane because he has the ability to micro vs collosus non-stop, and very few protoss have played against such a style so they can't cope with it. I think dream's TvP is better than Maru, it's just that Maru's style is incredibly flashy and it's rare to see. | ||
