hmm. I see some potential for a bounce back it could be worse. No real star player suck tho.
Dear has been falling off a little in the last few weeks, unfortunately. He would be the clear ace/star otherwise. You know, aside from Solar not performing.
Solar, Dear, Bravo... these are solid players, with Dear being a potencial star, but they are just not delivering

If Solar performed, and Dear was as good as we were hoping, we might be able to qualify for play-offs. But then again, it's like saying "if SKT's players all won the matches they were clear favourites for, they would've won PL."

Jangbi won back to back OSLs though
but didn't January take his money or something?
Wait, what's the source on that? That's ridiculous.
could be remembering it wrong. I thought there was some drama between January and Jangbi when he went back to BW
I think that her taking his money would cause more than drama. She was probably upset with losing another pillar of Samsung. I mean, SKT kept BoxeR on contract even though he was pretty rubbish at BW before he went into SC2, but he was probably good for the fans.
January kept downplaying JangBi who was really good, in favor of the 0-14 SC2 disaster named Stork. I think money involved was the salary and (IIRC) Samsung taking a % of his tournament winnings (I might be wrong on the 2nd one). So JangBi retired and started streaming BW.

Coach Stork now. I guess that makes sense. If we still had JB, would KHAN have bought Dear?

Play-offs will be closer than ever. CJ, SKT and Jin Air are favourites for not only the round play-offs in each round but also almost confirmed for the season finals already. But the 4th spot is in hot contention; that's Samsung's shot.

I feel like SBENU and KT are also in hot pursuit of that fourth spot.

Well, yeah. For the season finals, KT and SBENU are currently tied in 4th and Samsung hasn't been able to outperform them consistently (bar Startale's round 2 with an abyssmal 0-7 record).
Also this is the best Ro8/(or possible Ro4) we could have ever gotten.
The four best players in the world faced each other. Every single one of them in their best matchup. So so so sick. Bo5s with 3-2 results dont do the losers justice here.

Woooow my entire neighborhood had a power outage right at the beginning of my pre-game nap and power wasn't back when the matches started
Even my backup wi-fi hotspot in the mall 5 minutes away was out, so I had to walk 30 minutes at 2:30 in the morning to the next nearest wi-fi hotspot to watch the game. Good thing I did though! Great, great games!

herO's best should still be PvZ.
Results wise PvZ is definitely the best. But his own confidence and the quality of his games totally back up PvT as his best matchup.

Tough to say because he's good all around. Unfortunately for him, the other half of the bracket is 75% Protoss.
