Regardless of whether you call Taiwan "Taiwanese" or "Republic of China", both Mainland China and Taiwanese people self-identify by the ethnicity of "Chinese" so why does it even matter.

For the whole Chinese/Taiwanese debate. Chinese is both a nationality and an ethnicity. People in Taiwan might not consider themselves PRC Chinese, but no one denies that they are Chinese in heritage (Han Chinese or some other minority).

So it wouldn't necessarily be wrong to refer to Sen and Toodming both as Chinese.

they are the same people. some of them were following Chiang Kai Shek. some were not.
