There are good reasons why we see 10p banes a lot and even a lot of professional players call it a build order loss when you go hatch first against it. While 10pool speed hardly ever happens, and this game has shown why. And Symbol even got quite lucky with how the scouting phase of the game. | ||

Yes, but that's also not great either unless completely unscouted until zerglings are at your ramp (ie. queens not pulled). 9p (or 10p) bane is quite good, though, against specifically hatch gas pool. That's what Dark used to beat Life twice. | ||
