margin of error, there aren't enough samples for when Bling wins since it's pretty unlikely combined with how unlikely he is to qualify for Blizzcon

I think they're underestimating MC. He's always been good at preparation and he has a lot of recent information on Bunny, while Bunny has very little on MC.

Agreed. MC is also one of those guys that can win a Bo3 against anyone, especially when you think he wont. That is what makes him so scary.

I would be surprised if he didn't. He's not Code S or in SSSSSSSL or in proleague. So it seems like he'll have the time. Either way we'll know in about 10 minutes. (hopefully)

Bling went blink vs stargate into blink. Lost only 1 probe to initial oracle attack and then managed to kill it off.
Kind of faked expanding and instead went for 2 immortals and mass blink stalker pushed. sOs had an expo and couldn't defend, Bling just plowed through and killed every unit.
How was the viewership earlier in the day? I expected higher numbers with such a sick lineup. Production quality is pretty sweet too. Just not too big on the lighting.
Ya, saw your tweet. I don't know how they are supposed to improve if they don't listen to the community, especially the most obvious remarks. Someone else in this thread also posted that the overlay was bad (the player cams being at the top of the screen, thus hiding some of the action). That's once again something that had been pointed out last time.

I know. And counter attacks and especially burrow is probably what the style is weakest against. So I think Hyun will be one of the better zergs at dealing with it.

Honestly I wouldn't have put it past Showtime to GG right there. 3rd cancelled, no map presence, lost all sentries so he couldn't even all-in if he tried. Pretty hopeless.

his LBM was actually really good for some time, but that series vs Bunny was awful. In any case, I think that if he actually bothered to play textbook ZvT, he'd probably kill people easily, Hyun has fantastic mechanics.
when pros do +1 lings into hydra ling it's all cool and shit, when I do it I just get forcefielded and die

he once tore apart Taeja withLBM and 1 game of 1-1 speed roaches into roach/bane/muta. But again that was WCS Taeja

HyuN's great advantage in his SSL group will be that Dream, Classic and Soulkey will see him as inferior and not take him as serious. We'll see if he can exploit that.

I agree with this, Hyun probably could get back to the top level if he wasn't so stubborn about using units and compositions that just don't work. His decision making also needs an improvement, but like you said he has great mechanics.

Oh dear, someone's taking things far too seriously.
Always nice way to end and argument, when you have no comeback. Precious! Also ask yourself if I am doing anything different from what you JUST did!
Okay I will dignify you with a response as to why I made my initial comment and maybe you will begin to understand.
Google 'British vs American pronunciation' and it will reveal 17,700,000 results. There is a HUGE historical rivalry between us and the Americans over pronunciation. When I inferred that 'sked-ule' was wrong, I was joking around referring to the big rivalry. 'We'll make a Brit out of him yet' referring to Rotti kinda suggests my comment is jokey no? Do you guys do humour in Daneland? Bloody hell.

I make brood lords and die to void ray/stalker
Well when Rogue did that Trust didn't have stargates ready, so maybe you should throw away units to kill stargates?

Wow, calling me wrong now? Wrong? I'm not wrong. Read my edit.
Okay okay. You WERE wrong. Gg
I wouldn't call someone 'wrong' when they are technically correct and are just teasing the other opinion or pronunciation.

both Jonnyrecco and Ziktomini achieved their full potential in August 2012
That's prob about right tbh.
BlinG/DeMu I dunno. They just don't impress really
DeMu is just a weird case. He has the potential, and sometimes it shows. And then other times it doesn't show at all. Remember Gfinity G3 when he eliminated StarDust?
Yeah. Typical Brit tbh haha. Turn up and do well for a while, then go home early.... Just like Scotland/ England at footy.

going into burrow movement roaches in ZvP is very close to being all-in, your tech is late and you absolutely need to start dealing a lot of eco damage
having said that, I don't mind doing roach all-ins so I'll give it a shot

That's pretty ridiculous if it highlights burrowed units like a widow mine
well burrowed WM are visible to anyone who's actually looking for them so i don't think it's that unreasonable
kinda wonky but not really unfair
You really dont see the problem with "invisble" units being highlighted behind buildings? Or just units in general.
they're not invisible... they're really easy to see burrowed in the ground if they're not behind buildings. like incredibly easy. working as intended = you can see a burrowed widow mine

oh it doesn't highlight cloaked stuff, just the outlines of units physically visible for you. Meaning if oracle uses envision, you can't hide a WM from it. I don't know what they decided to do with not revealed widow mines (which after all are still able to be noticed by the player).

There's quite a difference between a shadow on the ground and highlighting...
which is why it's kind of awkward, so maybe it should be a very faint highlight or something, but the highlighting is no more "unfair" than hiding them behind buildings is in the first place

did you see petraeus vs morrow in challenger where he lost a ton of mutas to double WM behind a refinery? i mean it's pretty much saying "you aren't allowed to fly into a base with mutalisks" which i would say is a bit silly yeah especially when 2base muta is almost the required meta against mech these days
I like it. It means I don't have to build 20 turrets and leave a thor at every base.
I dont like the change cause it just makes the game easier.
The MSC and medivac speed boost and muta speed/regen made the game easier too.
Also changes I dont like.
all of these were awful
as much as I'm probably gonna get shat on for that, I like the MSC, it made the game so much better for Protoss players
The MSC was the most lazy solution Blizzard could have introduced tbh
they could redesign the whole game or introduce one unit, not really suprising they chose the second option. it's not perfect, but it still made the game better
too bad it's another champion for a race that operates as if it was 4 MOBA characters together

you'd prefer Protoss to never be able to move out aside from all-ins and late-game, like in WoL?
You know that middle aged woman in your college class who talks about her personal story in the middle of the psych lecture? That's Heart. He's that guy who always raises his hand in class and gets the answer wrong

I had a really fucking weird dream about trying to buy shoes at a Sbenu store recently. They didn't have shoes, I kept asking for them and they just went "aaaaah", nodded and said either Style, Start or Sbenu. It was infuriating because for some reason I couldn't leave the store before buying shoes.

funny enough San is actually tied as the 2nd worst opponent for Jaedong in map differential in sc2. San leads Jaedong by 7 maps head to head (8-1) tying him with Rain.

Yeah those are all true. I was just trying to think of who was first and I'm pretty sure it was viOLet who went from MVP B teamer to being a zerg competitive with Code S players. You also have Dear down, Supernova down, Soulkey debatable although his dropoff was more on SKT, Innovation down temporarily but bounced back, Leenock same streaky self, axiom players relatively similar with maybe impact being improved, Nada down if you count SK (all imo)

You also have Dear down, Supernova down, Soulkey debatable although his dropoff was more on SKT, Innovation down temporarily but bounced back, Leenock same streaky self, axiom players relatively similar with maybe impact being improved, Nada down if you count SK (all imo)
Yea violet went extremely up. As for Soulkey, I think its about the same. He fell on SKT and the trend has continued. There was no guarantee he'd have went up just by staying on.

It's fun in ZvP, because for some reason Protoss players don't veto and I grab free wins.

For some reason I'm recalling that Charlize theron arrested development gag where you can't tell the difference between british and functionally retarded.

The only reason Protoss doesn't veto that is so they can immortal all-in unsuspecting Terrans through the backdoor.

I actually don't mind it that much vZ. Aside from committed ling/hydra attacks I find the map quite decent.

I would not call Fanta's TvP creative at all. And he doesn't have the same level of control as Maru does (and even Maru's control was struggling vs Zest's positioning of fewer units). If Fantasy pulls SCVs more than once, he dies for sure. And keep in mind Zest can also do Protoss bullshit. But I guess it'll be close, Fantasy seems to prepare very well for everything.

He is expected to use his full potential to become SC2 God. He's kinda pressured.
I don't really like Bunny's interpretation of that map. It's such a good place for drop play and except the proxy reaper and the mines -which did zero damage- he let Patience get 2-2, storm and 5 colossi totally unhindered. Disappointing.

I am pretty sure that Khaldor can do the commentary if he wants, but he has been doing commentary for Heroes of the Storm for quite some time now and that's probably the reason why he isn't casting SC2 outside of Gfinity tourneys.

I don't think he let him get that inhindered. He did proxy reaper and mine drop to slow that down. It's didn't work because of great defense by Patience, and bad luck with one of the mines going to gas.
But in generel I would agree that you should drop on this map, but I think top level terrans see heavy drop defense on this map. So if you do not drop, all that money is wasted.

yeah I think so too. There's no way the battle looks like this if they're on equal upgrades, Bunny's position was not extremely good -not bad either, but not very good.

The hallucinations could've made the difference. Likely why Bunny scanned them once so the hallucinations are revealed so that his units auto target them last.

15 probes, but yeah it looked funny.
If he pulled the probes and kept 1 stalker alive he could have gotten a draw .
I would like to see how many probes you need to kill a 3-2 marauder under a medivac.
Well that's not the point, really, the point is meatshielding the zealots who meatshield the stalkers . I wonder if he'd won if he had used force fields instead of hallucinations.

Ha before the fight ! Yeah indeed. But minerals are so juicy and maybe Patience thought he would be able to rebuild something. I thought you meant pulling the probes after the fight.

Patience is a good win. He's in code S and he has been playing well recently. I'd agree that he's still just a middle tier Korean though.
Beating MC (ro16 last season, close loss to Trust in code A this season) and Patience (code S) in a row is no small feat. Remember Bunny could have been in Polt's place in the finals bar a few mistakes in the WCS. If someone is the foreign hope, that has to be him.

Bunny's top 1 seed, he won't meet sOs in ro8. And I don't think he'll get to ro4 if he draws Hydra.

You really have the weirdest rating scale for sc2 skill in your head . I saw "Code A level = fairly decent" earlier. What do you consider good?
Good? hm maybe ro16/ro8 in code S/Good proleague performer. I'm not sure of an exact definition, its more of watching and appreciating their play than anything else. There is nothing interesting about Patience as a player and he will get trucked in his Code S group

It's not a hard and fast definition. I value overall talent more than every specific result. I would say there are about 25-30 "good players" 10 or so "elite players" and 4 God-tier performers (Life/Maru/herO/PartinG)

No. Only if you are in GM is your opinion relevant. Because its impossible to understand starcraft to a moderate degree without having 300 apm and 2+ years of experience

He botched a map vs Patience, but he was pretty decisive in his wins otherwise. He says he has less confidence in his TvZ, so today might be tough. I wouldn't count him out yet though.
