Man this next match is hard to call. Rain is my favourite protoss player and he should win. But Gumiho is so creative and can take out anyone on his day.
It's awesome to see such a high calibre representation in GSL, it feels like the ones that didn't make code S just aren't good enough to cut it, a lot of those players that got manhandled in qualification. No one here is undeserving of their spot.

Rain played so well, such solid defense, tbh if Gumiho wanted to d omore damage, he shouldn't have dropped the hellions ans th wm at Rain's Natural, gives Rain a lot of reaction time and also didn't cause him to lose lots of probes and units, and as always, godly Stalker micro. if Rain advances from only playing terrans lol, I will be SOOO impressive + Show Spoiler +
People call Inno a robot and miss Rain sometimes. I'd be willing to do an analysis of the last 100 of his recent games in this matchup, he has done this build 95% of the time at least I believe

I actually went on hiatus from SC2 right between the release of HOTS and Black Friday 2014 so I missed the entire Blink era. I only Blink against Zerg really (I almost always just Colossus turtle against Terran) but after seeing all these Blink kills vT by Rain I want to pick this up

I can't stress how much I agree with that. There's litterally nothing you can do. Insta-quit, or wait and see your SCVs drop at a rate of one per second and then quit. And it happens freaking often too. One of the several reasons why I think TvP is the most frustrating matchup by a mile...

I think its a real issue regarding scouting, it's why terrans open reaper 95% percent of the time. There are simply so many ways you can die if you don't scout properly

The other issue I have with the matchup is how linear the matchup for Terran is. There is literally 1 or 2 reasonable builds in the whole entire matchup

Maybe without the time warps you can make the hold, with the time warps even Maru and MarineKing can't do it consistently. And that's when scouted. Bunker on the highground just gets circumvented until there is a chance to just kill it because everything is out of position.
Flash has mentioned before that he feels the issue with Protoss is really the difficulty of scouting and the wide diversity of strategies they have..

I can't stress how much I agree with that. There's litterally nothing you can do. Insta-quit, or wait and see your SCVs drop at a rate of one per second and then quit. And it happens freaking often too. One of the several reasons why I think TvP is the most frustrating matchup by a mile...

I know how to beat Protoss, it has always been my best MU, but it's frustrating as shit when you get all-in'd, scout it but can't hold anyway, even with bunkers and all. I mean, you have map vetoes to get rid of maps that are good for blink all-ins I guess.

When you watch how Sorry micros his marauders just out of range, the way he control reapers, and notwithstanding the fact a lot of good players were first know for cheese. I see a lot of potential.

In 2014 Season 2 he went 0-3 in the Quarterfinals, Season 3 went 1-3 in Quarterfinals, and last season he went 2-3 in Quarterfinals. He was supposed to break that barrier this season by going 3-2
