Game 2: Maru vs Byul: Granted I've haven't watched games from the past, but I always wondered why they all just stop at 3 reapers. Why not make more reapers? They shoot queens, lings, drones They regenerate.. They are good right? Thanks Maru for showing me that it actually works. So when does it work? Is it just a question of surprise? Game 3: Roguejwa. Has served well under captain Stats. | ||

I remember that time KT is so strong TY unbeatable Flash reliable & there is there 2014 Zest Year. And CJ , there is Hydra & Effort as their strong players. But they do not perform reliable. Obviously since then they've been right up the top though. | ||

But usually zergs don't go hatch first on a remote gold mine. As for the 5 rax reaper thing, IMHO it was not a 5 reaper that Maru did, he just went for a double proxy and decided to finish the game with 3 more rax when he saw he was doing so good. I suppose his initial transition (in case ByuL managed to survive the initial attack) was facto into 2-3 CC like everybody does usually... | ||

I'm speculating here but I would say that if zerg gets a decent mass of speedlings or even a decent mass of slowlings with creep a bit spread out or with a little bit of queen support, then the reapers can't do a thing. So in this case, it was all about Maru being super aggressive and maintaining the zergling number low. | ||
