KT not having Flash, Life and Zest for tonight's telecom wars is a little disappointing. sure, two of them are coming out of slumps right now, but given Zest's IEM Katowice performance i'd say it puts them at a disadvantage.
Even without their A teamers the line-ups look sick. I'm hoping for a soO victory. Head says 3:1 victory for SKT with Stats grabbing the only win for KT.
Need some wins from Dream and Ty. Hope soO can finally stop losing against that weak opponent, but as his luck goes, he is probably going to die to some random early game ZvZ bullshit.

Maybe he's bad in practice but when he is fielded Zest tells him "if you don't win you'll have to do in one day the amount of workout I do in one week", and he's scared as fuck and thus always win.

Action is a ZvZ bonjwa tho
But soO is a god whenever his opponent doesn't force him to go into Swarm Hosts, and those situations are nearly impossible to create in ZvZ.

so I have Dream and Ty. I guess the most I can get now is: Dream loses (+0) Ty wins (+3) and then either Dream or Ty wins the acematch (+5) and the other one isn't fielded

Agreed, even coming into this. I knew SKT was gonna win it. Stats was the closest they had to getting a win and he sadly failed. A rather disappointing Telecom War match due to IEM, but it can't be helped. We'll have to wait well over a month or so to see it again in round 3 in PL

It could have. I also expected him to move his mothership core away much faster. Although props to his immortal, that guy killed like 4 stalkers. First started out okay-ish and then fell apart, but he had to play against the strongest player SKT could field today, so I guess it's acceptable.
Well done by SKT, but I'm more looking forward to seeing both A-teams meet again.

I mean let's be real. Of the first 3 matches 2 were HIGHLY in favor of SKT. The only real chance KT had was Stats winning his game, then TY winning (he should have played in the first 3 matches as well..) and then a lucky Ace match. So yeah, i wasn't really surprised at all..^^

But is it really that surprising? I mean, soO is better than Action and Dream is currently one of the best Terrans out there, those wins were like 98% guaranteed for SKT. Classic is still a great player even if he rarely gets to show it, and the PvP coinflip worked in his favour today. And he beat Stats. Stats beating Classic was basically the only way KT would ever get a chance to win with this lineup but he couldn't do it, he made critical mistakes and Classic crushed him because of it. MVP vs Jin Air was much closer because MVP fielded an A-lineup while JAGW fielded a mostly B-team.
Boy, KT's B-lineup is gonna be in trouble for the next month after losing to SKT, Zest, Life, and Flash won't be happy with that one .

I agree, I think he should have been fielded earlier. Not only is he better than First and Action, Overgrowth and MGR would have been pretty good maps for him and he had a better shot at beating soO or Dream.

IMO, KT should have sent out TY sooner. Saving him for 4th spot means KT felt confident that they would at least win one game, but with your three best players not available, I don't think taking that risk was the right call.
