I dunno, Hydra is a pretty strong ace. Could he play in the ace, having already participated in 2 sets? I think it will be 4-1 or 4-3 to ROOT if so, but they might lose 3-4 if they have to rely on someone besides MaSa/Hydra. Considering even Prime didn't lose 4-0 I doubt that ROOT will win 4-0. They aren't that favored.

They aren't that favored. I imagine Pet and Hack will definitely win their maps in singles, Curious might if he gets his shit together. As much as I respect Legend, he plays CatZ in LotV, so I'd say ROOT takes that one aswell as hydra's individual and the 2v2 for sure. IIRC you can reuse players for the ace (like in Proleague), and hydra is a strong ace. I'm not sure how good it's on the map, but depending on that, Hack going mech is also a strong ace :S

Hydra should beat daisy but it isnt a sure thing, Curious should take out Masa but again could go the other way. Legend vs Catz depends on if Legend actually knows what hes doing. Pet vs Kelazur is a bit of a toss up. Hack will likely crush Solo. The ace would be either Hack or Curious vs Hydra and I just don't see Hydra winning that. Im more interested to see if EG drops a map to Ascension

Im more interested to see if EG drops a map to Ascension Hydra used to be on a KeSPA team stronger than StarTale, he's easily good enough to beat any of their players now that Life is gone. Curious is also inconsistent as hell this year, him beating MaSa is far from certain; especially since foreign teams generally put more effort into preparing this.

Hydra was also one of the most underwhelming Kespa Zergs in SC2. Dont get in over your head. He's doing better than he had, but he is by no means a sure thing.
