Did the players know it beforehand? Was it actually supposed to be Bo5??? I'm happy to have Dark over sOs, but wtf... Yes it was supposed to be Bo5, as the semifinals (INno vs sOs and Dark vs Patience) were supposed to be too.

Players asked for this to be a Bo5 even though semis were Bo3(which they weren't supposed to be), admin agreed, they played a Bo5.

The casters from TakeTV's stream casually talked about that, and the chat said that as well.

what are odds eu will hold? I think at least one spot will probably go to a European

what are odds eu will hold? Welmu/Harstem & Bunny/Showtime have a little pocket of non-Korean that should send one of em off to at least Ro16.
Also, KR is mad sleepy right now, so advantage EU.

I hope Europe doesn't hold. If a few more big name koreans make it, IEM might be the most stacked weekend tournament of the year.

what are odds eu will hold? Relatively good. 150+ europeans to about 20 koreans and a lot of the koreans are probably exhausted. Snute and MaNa were also both doing super well during the AM rounds

YAY Inno and Dark! Sad about sOs tho, wish he could go as well. Also Patience with the Dreamhack WI yet 2013 repeat? I expect top 4 from him.
