It's impossible to properly set up the sound tech for that size show in a stadium that size in under a few hours. It's entirely pre-recorded.

Many live performances are lip synch'd. *ALL* halftime/quick set-up performances are. That's also why all the performances on those parade floats are synch'd - there's no way to balance levels and other tech for that.
