Bly top left, uThermal bottom right pool/hatch/gas vs 2 reapers FE with SCV scout, natural starts in-main for uThermal uThermal reactor before factory lingspeed, marines patroling the edge of the base starport+hellions+mines medivac being built
Bly 6:50 3rd base on 1 gas, sees only 1 gas in uThermal's main Bly roach warren ling runby into nat but only 1 SCV to pick off
my stream is lagging bane nest, bly on 2 gases, 3rd building marine drop+hellion runby lings defend marines, roaches defend hellions 18 drones lost uThermal starting 9:30 3rd CC after 2 more raxes
Bly goes for a roach-bane bust forces natural lift and gets 7 SCVs but siege tank holds Bly still up in supply, droning up
12min double evo and 12min double ebay, haha Bly starts lair and 1/1, burrow halfway done 64 drones to 44 SCVs uThermal's 1/1 very little behind Bly's marine drop into 3rd and redrop into main
uThermal has killed over 20 drones with that drop+another one to nat Bly macro hatch, down 118 supply to uThermal's 140 Bly tries to move out with speedroach/speedbane uThermal forces him back with another marine drop on 3rd both players starting 2/2 Bly starting spire 17 minutes into the game
Bly starting 4th, another single medivac drop to main another drop forcec cancel on 4th Bly 136 supply to 185 but he has OL speed researching which is nice Bly exploded his supply with 16 mutas being made, now he is 174 to 200
+1 for mutas starting, Bly more mutas and accidentally strted ventral sacs drops picking Bly apart but he's still in the game (and still on 3 bases) uThermal actually has quite a few siege tanks and is going bio/tank and not 4M/Thor
4CC starting, uThermal pushing through the backdoor to Bly's nat Baneling nest died here Bly decides to basetrade with mutaling
uThermal no 3rd, Bly no natural well Bly has 22:30 4th base being made 168 Terran vs 140 Zerg bane nest and pool being remade bio tank standing in Bly's nat/main 172 vs 130 another drop picking 4 drones on Bly's 4th
Bly has 3rd, 4th and his 5th now being taken on the middle highground. Also macro hatch being built on 4th uThermal has main, nat and has retaken 3rd with another CC Bly tries to engage bio tank, not really successful 170 supply vs 138 of Bly
uThermal moves out from Bly's nat in medivacs, leaves siege tank holding the highground lol 181 vs 157 Bly remaking spire and retaking natural 198 vs 166, ling-bane runby into natural Bly lost 5th and a lot of mutas, runby just traded ling-bane for marines and few SCVs retaking the 5th now, natural started mining, +2 for mutas that have been remade 170 supply vs 170 133 vs 164, Bly up in supply for the first time in like 15 minutes
31 minutes have passed 110 vs 110 bio-tank with medivacs pushing into 4th, Bly trying to hold drones on 4th either dead or moved to mine somewhere else 3 mutas left for Bly 4th base which was lair is gone now 134 vs 90 supply
tanks sieging 4th marines walking into 5th Bly GGs
That was some pretty poor obs work at the end showing the bio vs banes. The camera seemed focused in almost a dead spot with bane explosions happening everywhere but where they were looking.

medivac/hellbat/marine walks into Bly's natural before 7min mark Bly holds with roaches lair for Bly, banshee+cloak for uThermal Bly has spores being made already more hellbat/marine poke but roaches deflect easily Bly going up to 4 gases more roaches, more queens, uThermal has another techlab making somewhere

Yeah, disgusting behaviour from Faefae here. It should be "Even ForGG came close to winning against YoGo"

Kind of surprised uThermal is trying to do biomech after that fail opener. The only possible way I could see him winning is going full on turtlemech off this.

yeah but there's a debate because it happened in GSL qualifiers which had a few games streamed but UWC purists felt like it shouldnt count since previous qualifiers were unstreamed and this was just a small community stream that only covered a few games blah blah blah

I was just referring to the "retiring" point. That debate stopped mattering when the titles were unified in the WCS 2013 Season 2 Finals.

I guess I can't remember the game well enough, but it feels like Lilbow had this in the bag even more.

not really, because the stalker kills the mc and the rest of the probes with micro
there's no way a 20 hp stalker kills the msc and 4 probes if they all just go ham on him. 1 probe and msc maybe, but lilbow had too many probes for the stalker to micro against while not taking any damage

In theorie the Stalker should never take damage. But if you mirco so carefully that you never take damage it takes ages to kill the other units. A probe or two might kill the buildings before you kill the MSC/probes
This is why I can't play lategame TvP. It's so friggin hard to deal with harass as the terran, can't utilize reinforcement that easily and need to micro vs the zealot/dts.

2 proxy gate from Showtime. Lilbow counterattacked with probes and defended with MSC at home. Showtime made micro errors and almost lost his only stalker to the MSC. They juked arround the map until eventually Lilbow allowed a single stalker to kill his last building while having 6 probes and a MSC attack Showtimes buildings. It was really close in the end but Lilbow fucked that up
Proxy 2 gate in base by Showtime. Lilbow pulled all his probes and moved to Showtimes base. Turned into a basetrade with ~18 probes and a MSC vs 2 zealots, ~10 probes and a stalker. Crazy micro battles back and forth until Lilbow decided to try to kill Showtimes last buildings with a MSC and ~6 probes vs 1 stalker from Showtime killing Lilbows last assimilator. Showtime won BARELY.
Been following the French stream the past 2 days, I'm surprised by the vocabulary used by the casters. Two examples: - "Une game" instead of "une partie". - "Opening" instead of "ouverture". I'm probably too much used to chess, but I find it weird that so many English words are being used by French people when a perfectly valid French word exists .

Standard Frenglish
I think stuff like "opening", "builder order", "match up" etc. is used in every language in their English versions

Ouverture works fine instead of opening, but ordre de construction is fairly awkward and match-up has no equivalent

Majestic vs Happy: It's David against Goliath. Majestic, the Protoss playing for Mousesports is the only Spanish player to make it into WCS Challenger. Happy is not a rookie, it's his 9th participation to WCS. Happy is known for his strong late game in TvP whereas Majestic is known to have some strong timings on two bases. Happy knows how to hold two bases all-in.
Happy 3 – 1 Majestic
Welmu vs Beastyqt: Welmu is a strong and consistent Protoss in Europe, he played every season of WCS and his TvP is his strongest match up. He plays a solid style and his all-ins are really powerful. Beastyqt is a former retired SC2 player who managed to make a comeback after playing League of Legends and Starbow at a high level. Shit, I really thought Bly and Lilbow had a shot. Still, I'm happy I predicted Morrow, I think a lot of people got that one wrong. I'm pretty OK with the results tonight. The WCS line-up is shaping up to be really interesting and balanced.
If I am not mistaken France is the only european country that might have more than 2 players in Premier =O but it is also possible that there won't be a single french player /=

With Lilbow gone, our biggest asset has fallen though. MarineLord, PsiOnic and PtitDrogo all have near to impossible opponents. FireCake will have a shot but Starbuck seems really hot atm. I think we could very realistically end up with no Premier League player this season, which would be a huge disappointment after a very encouraging showing in qualifiers.
