R1CH fighting against the GOM tyrans. I missed Life's games, how did he look?
Fell behind vs 2 rax, but Gumiho put CC on low ground so it just died to slow lings. Gumiho far behind, Life went for bane bust and crushed him, wasn't close.
Game 2 Gumi went for fast hellbat-marauder timing, Life scouted and read it perfectly and held off with 2 spines and banes while counterattacking with lings ftw.

After life likely beats gumiho again I hope they ask why he made hydras there. Every zerg player knows you lose the second you make hydras.... not to mention rain is very good with stalkers which hard counter hydras when you are skilled and have blink.

well, against that composition roach/ling/infestor is much better than anything hydra. Hydras are just inefficient vs stalkers while roaches are efficient and though the combination of roaches+hydras is better than just one of them, the (up to) 450/400 extra cost for hydratech with the upgrades just eat into your army supply so much that it isn't worth it.
I have some money left over due to christmas, so I was seriously thinking about subbing for better quality, since it looks like they won't change it. Then I saw that you don't even get source (not even source vods) and will still see ads for 14 bucks.

The double thor drop is kinda like how the siege tank/medivac combo will work in LOTV, except LOTV it will come earlier and be cheaper! And more effective. Except for killing spine crawlers... 2 thors take em down quick!

Beside Swarmhosts, Zerg doesn't really have an option to break a turtling-player. There might be new options in LotV (not sure though...), but right now there aren't.

Gumiho on the 4 games vs Life, either all inned or took massive damage/was outmaneuvered in the early/mid game, the games he didn't all in after getting a lead Life just ramped up the pressure, and kept trading units, making gumiho unable to make the doom army then finally capitalized with a superior economy/army composition.

zergs also go SH in PvZ because of the lack of any other decent late game composition.
prettymuch the only ways to kill lategame protss is Sh or blindside with massive tech switch (usually muta or ultras after forcing phoenix with muta etc)
