Discussion of Naniwa's mental health (unless you know him personally or you email me your phd diploma) after page 96 will be dealt with severely. I suggest you talk about the games instead. |

Even if there was a rule against refusal they openly allowed Harstem to refuse, setting the precedent that a player could refuse. Not to mention it was talked about on stream that the mod told Nani he could refuse in the first place The admin also said that he shouldn't have allowed that apparently.. Regardless of if he retroactively said he shouldn't have he did. And the precedent was there from yesterday. "I disagree with Naniwa's decision" and "he has no right" are completely different things I actually don't know what the rules are on this. No one does. I think there should be a rule however, that you let your games being streamed by at least one streamer. This is a sport. It needs spectators. Again, what the rules are or are not is largely irrelevant at this point. Players were allowed to refuse casting in previous days qualifiers, whether it was against the rules or not, so you (meaning the tournament staff) can't now refuse the same request after setting the precedent. Let alone be dicks about it. You realize that your principle of precedents is mainly a U.S. American thing? In (most of the) EU most things are handled on a case by case basis. Never in my life have I heard that. Still stand by what I said though. Especially the not being a dick about it part That surprises me. In Germany for example, precedents mean almost nothing. Best you can do is refer to that, but one ruling does not automatically make the law "inactive".
So yeah, I think it's reasonable to start going by the rules, even if you said something else before(by mistake).

I agree with whoever said it earlier that the best thing to do would be say "from now on you can't refuse" (if that is in fact a rule). But forcing Nani or being a dick to him about it just is bullshit.

All Rifkin said is that he's not going to deal with it anymore. Hardly being a dick to him.
I agree though, from now on nobody should be able to refuse to be streamed.
