Everyone has a name in Hangul, it's phonetic

But they only ever write State's name in English.

They might have written it in Korean if he'd played in SSL!

He played in the qualifiers, and the qualifier bracket said Ryan Visbeck, just like his Code B brackets, just like his roster listings when he was on Prime.

There might be a difference (for whatever reason) between having it in writing and listing it on the on-screen graphics - I could see it being obligatory in broadcasts. Not sure, but I don't see a reason for listing one's name in Korean and not doing the same for another otherwise. Unless State's name is a pain to write in Hangul ^^

I also don't remember how they listed it when he played in Proleague. Wasn't it in Korean?

I'd check, but I'm busy watching Solar completely repulse every attempt Dream is making to control the map.

They listed him as Ryan Visbeck.

See?

My theory is that you write in the name yourself and Scarlett decided to go for some Korean flair while State played it safe.

I wonder why Terrans don't take the central base as a 3rd, seeing how it's quite easier to defend ? Is it because you need a 3rd OC?

Because if you lose a fight near his fourth you instantly lose your third afterwards, and it's game over

Hmm TvZ is much better with Edguy's Theater of Salvation on an endless loop. Yay. Go Life and TY!
I imagine France should be able to take this unless Lilbow is busy practicing for Starcraft III. | KadaverBB is my fairy ban mother.

Since SSL is the tournament of upsets, it's no surprise that Dream is winning against Solar here, despite Solar's really amazing success as of late (he also just won the fight before xmas tournament). It's also worth noting that Dream has soO and Dark as practice partners, with Innovation for support. Those are some pretty training teammates.

This also means that Scarlett is going to beat TY !

I dunno, people don't misspell their own name that often. And even if they did, how many of us in the West would even notice?

Also, that first fight on creep was basically GG right then and there.
