Take your shot at competing with the premier StarCraft talent in the world in the third season of Fragbite Masters.
We are extremely proud to announce that we will in co-operation with Com Hem, McDonald's, Estrella and Blizzard be bringing StarCraft II back to the Fragbite Masters at the end of this year. Everyone here at Fragbite remember the extraordinary final that Ko "HyuN" Seok-Hyun and Juan "VortiX" Duran shared close to six months ago, and knowing that we will be bringing you all an even bigger spectacle this season brings us immense pleasure
A total of 16 players will be featured this season. 12 will be invited, whilst the final four will be made up of the players who finish within the top two of our open qualifiers. From there the format will pit four players in to four separate groups and then send them to a double elimination bracket. Finally, the conclusion to the third season of Fragbite Masters will take place in our office here in Stockholm, Sweden.
Bringing you the action will be none other than Nathan "Nathanias" Fabrikant and Benjamin "DeMusliM" Baker who will be reprising their roles as commentators for the Fragbite Masters.

Top 8 will play offline? what's the format of the final bracket?
it's really weird to announce a qualifier 1 day in advance
|

Don't worry, it's not as if there is a big party this weekend in which a lot of players are caught up.
|
Also, when is the actual event? Site has no information.
|
We´re trying to get more info out to all of you but due to some issues its been delayed.
Format Qualifiers (17/18 nov) → Group stage(19-22 nov) → Playoffs(23-25 nov & 1-3 dec) → LAN Finals in Stockholm, Sweden (6-7th of December)
The qualifier will be using S3 maps and Bo3 all the way. Will be s3 maps in the tournament aswell.
Let me know if there is something else you are wondering about

who goes to the offline finals? when will you announce the invites if the group stage starts in only 2 days? playoffs is a single elimination bracket? (bo3/5/7?)

After the groups and playoffs, the remaining four players will go to our office and studio in Stockholm.
Hopefully tomorrow, there has been some issues but we´re trying to sort it out

Good luck to TL folks—I see Luolis and Sated there.

Can't find Life in the bracket, isn't he playing?
|

I cannot find state in the bracket, does anybody know under which handle he is registered?
edit: nvm, it's clumsyforeigner, good game vs carnage! :D

|
mlord over myungsik and sortof over impact?
|
Sortof's prize for beating Impact is to lose to Rain in the next round.
|
Wait Rain's playing in this? I take everything back bottom is 1000000x times more stacked than top.

2-1 vs Mafia, 2-1 vs SortOf, 2-1 vs State.
Bly, our last hope.

There had to be a big downpour of Rain to put out #BlyOnFire.

Against mass muta, stalkers just don't work.
|
well played by bly. for this map definitely a good choice to go for the muta ling style. Rain kind of stubborn to just stay on the blinkstalker/sentry ball.
|
|
rain doing amazingly considering the kr -> eu ping

wow Rain is in big trouble

Good point. I still feel he should have blocked his entrance with a zealot or something, perhaps.

I wish Namshar had targeted down the MSC with his Hydras there. He probably could've stopped the Recall.

Also if I recall correctly, Heart plays a ver micro intensive style, he probably suffers more from the EU server than the usual korean.

Namshar 2-0 Petraeus? Didn't see that coming at all... Petraeus usually has good ZvZ

Sortof is doing very well in these qualifiers. Props to him

Is very strange that a good player like SortOf can't find a team
