MC really wants to show good play but he has terrible spikes and asked me if its possible to give up the match. As I was player myself I can understand that he really wants to play but there is no use in playing in such conditions. Its his right as a player to give up on the tournament and I accept that.
VortiX is receiving a W/O in the 2nd map and will move to the Ro16. Its not what MC wants, not what I want and not how VortiX wanted to advance, but sometimes it happens. I hope people are not too upset!

It's so strange though, it's not like mutas or SH got buffed. If anything, mutas are worse now with the smarter Thors. People could do this pre-patch as well, it's just that they didn't have to.

The meta game isn't instantly figured out. For example, the 1/1/1 build vs p from wol took quite a while to develop.

The meta game isn't instantly figured out. For example, the 1/1/1 build vs p from wol took quite a while to develop.
I'm questioning Dayshi's statement, not the fact that the meta changes. I see terrans destroy this style all the time.

Due to scheduling conflicts with WCS America and another show that cannot be postponed on our channel we'll be showing WCS America and we will completely postpone Saturday&Sunday of this tournament to another weekend that does not conflict with the schedule of a main tournament.
I am really sorry. I was not aware of the conflict beforehand so I apologize for that. It is the first tournament I organize professionally and the first day was super awesome and went very well. I loved that all players showed up on time and even earlier so we could proceed quick with the day.
I informed all players via a group conversation and sincerely hope the community does understand. We (TaKeTV) do that as a last resort since we want to keep high production value and not have a schedule clash with the main final of WCS AM.

That's really shit considering this tournament doesn't even clash with WCS America schedule. WCS America starts so late that this tournament is already over when the first game of WCS America begins.

Ofc mistakes can happen and it is awesome, that you (taketv) create the content and tourneys like this, but for your own image I would suggest to give the community a more detailed answer next time. You know about WCS NA on this weekend for a long time now, so that cant be the reason, especially - as other comments already said - as the WCS NA starts when youre tourney is normally finished. So it seems to me obvious, that it has something to do with taketv and not with WCS NA.

It does not conflict with the WCS schedule via time (at least not for long) but it does conflict with being able to cast it. Dennis has to work a lot to organize HSC so he cannot cast and I cannot provide quality casting for WCS AM which is from midnight to early morning for me and provide casting at the same time for my tournament.
Also - as I said in addition we have a show that was not known to me until yesterday that we cannot postpone. Since we want to keep high production value, we will postpone the tournament and not to it on our lesser known TaKeTVBlack Stream and cast WCS AM.
