This finals is going to be absolutely terrible.
I read all your arguments below, and I disagree. We have two fantastic players in the finals, one will lose and then ? It won't break soO down (he would have already broken down after his loss to Classic if he was to ever break down) and whining about Terran's draught in GSL code S right now where T is really in a fine place, probably even the strongest race of the moment, would be "let's vote for Steppes of War" level of moronic. If the games are terrible, the finals will be terrible, otherwise it's going to be a great clash between two men who haven't yet been crowned champions and both deserve it. Of course it'll be disheartening for the loser, but both of them have shown enough fortitude for us to be confident whoever is the loser will overcome this loss.
He was joking :p
Also that.
Three reasons this finals will suck:
1. If innovation wins there is no foreign hope in WCS Global Finals. Who wants to see "the robot" win a gsl? Well the choice is either that or an imba patch Zerg that hasn't won anything and consistently chokes. Which leads me to my second point:
2. No true champion. We have to accept that we're about to watch a match between two players who have proven they simply don't have what it takes to win when it counts. Innovation choked in a way we rarely see (who was that one Terran that did something similar in the code S OSL? He did it twice I think against DRG and MC once in the semis and once for third place. Yeah you don't remember him? Neither does anyone else). Soo is the kongiest Kong that ever konged. We deserve a real champion, like Classic who royal roaded, or Flash who is tried and true. How do we know these two won't just choke again in the finals of blizzcon and leave everyone asleep like when MVP beat squirtle with a lucky two rax? We don't. Not only will we have a gsl finals no one will remember, but a blizzcon championship that will leave the audience snoring. It's a damn shame too that Protoss has been nerfed to the point that we have no chance of seeing someone pull the true underdog story like sOs did last year. That leads me to my final point.
3. It's a TvZ, the audience has already lost. Has anyone been excited about innovation lately? No. Why? Because he's Terran. When you hear people mention soo are they talking about his TvZ? Of course not. Soo vs Classic, soo vs Zest, soo vs dear, what do these three matches have in common? They're all PvZ! Alien vs Predator baby! And you know what happens to the humans in alien vs predator? Nobody cares, because aliens and predators and Zerg and Protoss are badass. You name me a TvZ finals that people have enjoyed in the last month. See, now you can't do it.
In conclusion there is no way that these two losers playing terrible races can give us a finals worthy of code S. Worse yet, they may steal the spot from a deserving foreigner which would be the greatest of crimes against eSports.
(Oh god that hurt so much to type)))
:D I cant wait to see more ZvP in 2014...such an unrepresented matchup...

Especially if it's the awesome chess-matchy type with swarm hosts vs death ball.
I can't even remember a TvZ GSL Code S finals I enjoyed in over a year. PvZ is the noblest and greatest off all match ups. I get hype for mothership cores.

Has there even been a TvZ GSL finals in the last year to enjoy? I think Innovation vs Soulkey was the last one, and that was funny, at least. The most dominant 3-0, and the saddest 0-4 to follow it up.

There hasn't been a TvZ GSL final in the last year period. That's the joke.

This final is irrelevant. In fact, all the tournaments in the past months were mere preparations to determine who will be crushed in the global finals by the one true God, the Lord of the West, the Travelling Death, the Foreigner's Guillotine, the Fight Club Tyrant, the Pyjama Warrior, standing sovereign on his mighty pile of wcs points, the once-betrayed-now-back-for-vengeance Roach King.
Also, I hope Innovation wins and SoO takes silver at Blizzcon. Even though that would make a ZvZ global finals ...

I think I understand The purpose of delaying the preview article like this. You see, back when the earth was young and noobs wandered the interwebs without a care we would spam f5 until our fingers bled for just one scrap of a match result. Perhaps this trial they put us through is an homage to that, so only the most skilled of f5ers will be able to get a glimpse of the article before the matches start.

Do you think they'll put out the preview as "Greetings from Seoul Korea" is blasted out over the mic?
