I don't think Innovation wants to rely too much on straight up games to beat Soo (his mechanics are so scary even after cutting drones), I think he's going to want to rely more on prepared build orders and planned early Barracks rushes.

I disagree, I think innovation sees weakness in his opponents ability to deal with widowmines, and will ruthlessly deal with him that way.

In my opinion, you should never rely on your opponent being unable make engagements. I'm not Innovation, perhaps he is 100% confident in his standard 3 base attacks and movements, but still he has to be wary of the kind of build orders soo can pull out of the hat. Especially since he has... Catz!!

Both sides strongest point is those mechanics, but soO is the better strategist, playing the opponent, making a plan for each map and adapting to everything he scouts in game But Inno might outmicro soO. Im expecting things like roach all in, bane bust and hatch block in deadwing, foxtrot and Merry go, either to kill Inno fast or at least take him out of his confort zone. You don't wanna play the machine on his confort zone. But you cannot expect to do that all games in a BO7. I think if Inno plays too standard (like either going for the same build or proxy) he will lose to a soO that is not defeating himself.
Maybe

Inno will go up 3-0, soO will come back and pull a Soulkey to 3-3 and in the final game Inno switches to Protoss to win the game.

Do you think we will ever see a Flash v Jaedong finals in SC2?
