Henry can't lose. It's gonna be nice though.

I assume you meant Nestea can't lose?? O.o

Ah, the days when Nestea boasted a 90% winrate in what was considered a complete cointoss of a matchup
now I'm scared to watch him play because I want to remember what he once was
|
how many viewers do these show matches usually get? i imagine not much... good luck i guess

its okay, he was smashing #1 na gm yesterday on ladder ezpz
|
not even putting any EU time somewhere isn't really inviting aswell
|
ZvZ?
on the other hand i would have loved to see Nestea and MVP nuking it out
|
Why so much negativity? I don't even play this game and I feel sorry for the organizers
Just enjoy the show if you are interested, and politely decline if you are not
|
it's going to be a nice show! go nesteaaaaaaaaaa
|
Hendralisk has this no problem

4-5am maybe?

literally 15 seconds on google will explain anything you could ever need to know about time zone conversion
|
I hope Hendralisk takes this. Could be interesting games with Nestea playing! He always has something tricky.

thanks to xtorn for sponsoring

More air time for Nestea makes me happy
|
Xtorn you are the man! Gogo Hendralisk

why such meager sacrifices for nestea? in fact, aren't all players meager sacrifices for nestea?
|
Awesome match up

Same here. I miss Nestea ;; when is he coming back to play SC2? He's been gone for years...;

Yeah, this sort of feels like the "Just how bad is Nestea these days anyway?" showmatch. But I hope he's actually in decent shape.

He has been playing, he just didn't make it to premier WCS NA.
I could be wrong but afaik..
|
Suprised he still plays the game... that's kind of a tell how he is gonna do in this showmatch...
|
Guys, I think you're all forgetting the small detail that Hendralisk is a beast. He came one game short o all-killing Axiom in the ATC, he tore Scarlett apart in WCS, and he's only been improving. He's gonna win not because Nestea is bad now (he is), but because he is a freaking amazing player.

User was warned for this post I hate to derail this thread, although I tend to do that considering my posting history, but I really need to address Kimb3r's comment.
Dude, really? Are you really going to diss most of the TL community, and I say most because obviously you're part of TL, because we are the "idiot[s]" that want to see this unnecessary showmatch. I guess you don't want to watch it, which makes you not an "idiot".
I pity you.
Now if you don't have anything else to say, please stay quiet. Posting on TL is a privilege, and you clearly don't respect it.
Lets get back on track.
I really want to watch it, but I have to run some errands. Fuck!
But I think it would be interesting to see if Nestea still has it in him to win, even if its just a showmatch. Likewise for Hendralisk, he had a decent run in WCS AM, but only defeated a few notable opponents (e.g. Scarlett, Polt).
Should be a good match nonetheless, and good luck to Hendralisk and Nestea. I hope the replays are up soon after.
I don't want to spoil it for myself, so I won't be posting here anymore.

That's just a guess. We will see.

Nestea isn't what he once was. But he still made premier all six seasons of WCS NA. And he made to 16 half of those. I think he has enough to take this.
|
Gogogo NesTea.

These engagements are actually pretty sick to watch. In the hands of two top tier zergs with muta splitting and all that it would be so fun to watch. better than roach vs roach I suppose

Damn Henry didn't play his best
|
Rotti's cast has been pretty hilarious though
|
|
people hate on zvz but it's one of the most straightforward skill matches there really is. yeah there are some cheeses and all-ins you can do but in a bo7 it's pretty much "who's better" and it looks like nestea was better today
ggs :D

Some sick games happened even though the series was pretty one-sided score-wise.
|
A little bit of a surprise for me. Henry has been looking strong as of late. GGs
|
Since Hendralisk's protoss beat nestea's terran, we can objectively say that terran is not overpowered in TvP. Proven by science
|
ty for the games xtornz!
and nt henrylisk~

Ah sorry guys, couldn't play as well as I'd have liked tonight
GGs and thx a bunch to xtorn for giving me the chance to play such a great player!

What? It proves Protoss is overpowered if anything
|
|
Also - how can the community sponser more of these show matches? Would voting for which show match you want to see via a indie-go-go be viable? I'm sure all the recent Kespa ex-pats would love the chance at a quick $500. (also I want to see Taeja v Rain in a best of 7).

Last time I'm saying this, since nobody wants to look at my earlier posts. Hendralisk played protoss and won against Nestea's terran

I was hoping it was up on youtube. Plus I can't adjust quality (I keep it at medium because my download quota sux balls).
Oh well, I will bite the bullet on this one.

Glad everyone enjoyed it
Congrats NesTea for the bo7 and Henry for the offrace win! Toss stronk

grats Nestea!
Hey Hendralisk, I don't know if you'll read this, but I have a few questions for you about games 1 and 4.
In game 1, you had an advantage after a few successful zerg runby, but why did you throw away those roaches needlessly? Why didn't you just back off?
In game 4, where you took an early advantage with the nice bane detonation, did you expect your SH contain/siege (depending on your intentions with the SH) in the lategame to be so easily broken by queen/ultra/muta/infestor? And did you scout Nestea's ultras? Honestly, I thought you could keep your position for longer, and surprised how easily Nestea broke through with that combination.
Out of all the games played, these two were my favourite, yet slightly disappointing. Disappointing because you had solid advantages in both games and could have won them, and favourite because you played awesome in them.
Hendralisk, I have faith you will succeed!
Nestea, can't wait to see more of you in WCS!
Thanks for the great games guys!
