Well there are some funny things about fans. Gumiho and Supernova had the craziest fucking schemes and multi aggression and both of them aren't particularly popular either. But then neither of them win championships.

There are fans who love a player because of their style and personality and history, then there are fans who open a data base and look at the people with the longest streaks / titles and bandwagon. I tend to ignore the latter camp. Unfortunately most Flash fans are the latter nowadays.

Gumiho used to have fans when he was relevant. MMA seems to have slowly lost them over time ever since he left Slayers.
