This supply count offers a great window for Huk's pressure.
The world is better when every background has a chance.

The dumbest thing of all for WCS was not taking the points that were awarded in the season finals last year and making the WCS region tournaments worth more. You might as well not even care about doing well in the region tournaments if you can afford to just show up to stuff.

That's the truth if I ever saw it

I don't think its that dumb. It gives players a chance to qualify for Blizzcon even if they do poorly in WCS, which I think is quite fair. It also creates some great storylines.

But it's clearly not right, Jaedong has done rubbish in WCS (the main event) and has basically made it because of other tournaments whereas soO who has finished second in the GSL twice this year might not make it.

Well it isn't perfect, but it does offer second chances.

I think you people are missing the main point which is to allow other tournaments to exist. As good as the creation of WCS was ofr sc2, it was a huge blow for other tournaments' attractiveness from a top player point of view.

Giving away more points to other tournaments is what allows us to see people like Flash playing IEM, thus give better audience to tournaments, thus more financial sustainability and better tournaments in the long run.

IEM and dreamhack are still giving exciting sc2 events, they need to be helped cause is they decide to abandon sc2 like MLG did last year, we d be all crying

good point, I think they did a great job with this, maybe could use some tweaking but still

Who are you talking about "you people"? I am agreeing with you.

I don't think the system is perfect, but it is working as intended.

Yeah the system has flaws but I don't think it'll ever make everybody happy. I think what we have is pretty damn good and I've enjoyed the year of Starcraft so I think of it as a success. Will Blizzcon have players who feel a little out of place? Maybe but really that's not the end of the world.
