Zest's PvT is by far his worst matchup, that's why his IEM group is just hilarious.
soO can freely go for anyone, he has all three matchups being legit, Maru should go for Protosses. This is a big deal, if Rain or TRUE going to be first tier though.

I think I would say Reality, EffOrt, Solar, Stats for the weakest 4. Maybe even DRG instead of Solar. I think Cure is playing very well right now so I'd probably replace him with one of the zergs in your prediction. They're all still fairly strong players in general though so we should hopefully get 4 entertaining groups
The selection will be epic because there's no clearly weaker player here (ok, maybe Reality seems on paper a tad weaker). Any combination of 4 players among the 16 remaining I can think of will be awesome. This GSL is incredibly enjoyable : most of the strongest players made it to the ro16, the race distribution is perfectly balanced, the games are of outstanding quality as usual and, last but not least, this could very well be Flash season at last ! This GSL has me excited like I haven't been in a very long time !

Man these tiers and GSL points are confusing as hell, especially in a scene where there already are WCS points. I think they should just select four players amongst the first place finishers at random and let them commence the picking.

I don't see how it's that confusing. It's just who was top 8 last season in tier 1 and then the next 3 tiers separated by how well you've done in the GSL. It's been around since 2011

I guess, it will be more about race than about players. Won't be surprised if soO takes EffOrt because Protosses should be scared a bit of him if he plays on same level as he did in Ro32, not speaking about Terrans.
It's hilarious to say, but Soulkey might be first priority pick for non-SKT T1 Protosses.

Honestly he wasn't too far from it. PartinG is no pushover and losing to him isn't a shame. Future looks bright for Dear if you ask me ; at least undoubtedly brighter than when he fell to code B.
I think the only way this could have been better is if CJ herO hadn't choked in Code A. No offense to Reality but if he had fallen and herO had advanced from that group he probably would have made this Ro16 stronger. But we have a majority of the heavy hitters here regardless so it's still pretty sick
edit, lol I forgot about Classic so I guess it's a noticeable mark that the defending champ is missing but he has been playing poorly as of late imo so idk if he would have made this ro16 arguably better atm

2013 WCS KR Season 1 and 2014 GSL Season 1. This one might have a tiny edge, but I'd be hesitant to call any far above the others. All three share the common trait of 11-13 star players (some of them on insane streaks) with 3-5 outliers that are good, but not considered astonishingly great.

Cure -> Soulkey. He won't choose a terran - it's much better to only prepare for two matchups. EffOrt -> INnoVation. He might choose Flash for the fantasy BW rematch, but otherwise it has to be a terran for EffOrt's best matchup. sOs -> Rain. sOs doesn't give a fuck. He'll be happy to teamkill SKT and escape the group of death with Maru. DRG -> Flash. DRG can't catch a fucking break.

According to my sources it was the RO32 Figures it wasn't group B though.
we know for a fact that parting will pick flash if he is given the opportunity. and he will almost certainly be given the opportunity. go ahead and pencil that one in. maru is either going to 1) avoid zergs or 2) not show up. rain will be the only player who makes a pick that makes any sense.

yeah Im 96% positive that a group with Flash+PartinG is gonna happen. Then Flash processes to add SoulKey to that. SKT and/or KT teamkills are highly possible
EDIT: I should probably mention how I came to this conclusion.
In the first round, I put each player in a Bo3 with every remaining player and had them select the one which they had the highest percentage of winning against.
In the second round, I placed the choosing player and the initial player in a 3-man round robin group with each player who wasn't picked yet, then had the choosing player pick the player which gave them the loest percentage of finishing last (gotta finish ahead of at least one of them to advance).
For the final round, I just made the groups and had the choosing player go with the group that gave them the best Top 2 percentage.

Yeah, its really not fair to say that just because of one taunt from PartinG on an SPL Final that Flash will always win against PartinG. PartinG will win if he doesn't use too much trash talk to force god mode out of Flash (cuz that's what he did in SPL); if he doesn't taunt Flash, then he can win!!!!!! (cuz that's how he won before, he only Taunts Flash after he wins, by which time Flash can't do anything about it)

He was there to pick for HuK, as HuK was playing somewhere else. He then picked Supernova (who was living with HuK in oGs house prior to that) as a joke, but refrees didn't let him change. Jinro then got mad, caused a riot and in the end, was allowed to pick the guy, who was originally planned.

The difference between google and twitch is that google has their own system of ad management, meanwhile twitch is mainly a webiste that is a part of a display network. This means that twitch provides the space and the means to put ads on their website, but often they dont choose how ads are allocated across viewers (as opposed to google). The adds your seeing are not always personalized, very often its just a company that wants to have better brand recognition and gives its ads to a huge display network, no questions asked.

There is really a lot of physics guys in LR, just lately I read it about Lorning, I do it, now you do it as well.
What kind of physics you studying?
I'm still at the start of my stay at University sooo I'm at the basic part b4 specializing myself :D

So logically alone your argument is wrong....

Nahh its fine, I just got to Reddit too much, soo I got used to people making all kinds of weird claims about Protoss!
That made me just think that noone is using sarcasm when complaining/hating on Protoss players / whining about how weak Terran is nowadays ^-^

Hannover. Yeah, Doctor is the go-to in our field as well, I rarely meet anyone, who wants to stop after a Bachelor/Master-degree. Probably depends on whther you want to go into science itself or buisness afterwards, though, independent companies are probably more open to non-doctors. Where are you currently located?

Hmm it could work out with skype but you need a director who is really good with overlays so they can change fast between the 16 feeds.

Well, that's what the challenge was made for. We can't know what the players mean with it, but I'm reasonably sure they are at least aware of what it is. I think they mentioned it on stream yesterday though (?)

I really think Group D is the true group of death. Group C is good, for sure; but they all are. Group C only really has one real contender for the title this season.
Group D has 3 players who have been on absolute fire lately: True, Flash and soO.
Innovation and Parting are fun to watch, but I don't think they're really in the conversation this season. Nor stats (although he might be in a couple more seasons).

Amazingly stacked, near impossible to predict groups. Let's try though : Cure-Zest, Rain-EffOrt, Maru-INnoVatioN and Flash-soO. I'm very excited about these, especially group A.

Zest to get jetlagged at IEM from his GSL group.
Let's be serious, IEM means nothing if you have chance to pursue GSL dream. And Zest is pretty much secured for Blizzcon anyway and he has 125 points for IEM already.

If they make to Ro4, they may be back to Korea on Tuesday or maybe Monday midnight and have to play on Wednesday and Friday. Jet lag is serious problem. Yeah only Flash can be saved. I want to watch top players at IEM but this schedule is ridiculous
