2013 WCS KR Season 1 and 2014 GSL Season 1. This one might have a tiny edge, but I'd be hesitant to call any far above the others. All three share the common trait of 11-13 star players (some of them on insane streaks) with 3-5 outliers that are good, but not considered astonishingly great. | ||

Zest -> Solar, because he likes PvZ and Solar is one of the weaker zergs. soO -> Reality, because Reality is probably the weakest player in the Ro16 and soO doesn't fuck around. Maru -> PartinG. He chose him before, he'll get him again, and he loves TvP. PartinG is the new gatekeeper imo. TRUE -> Stats. He'll want a ZvP and Stats is a decent choice. Reality -> DRG. Preserves chances of a Reality + Zerg group which would be great for him. DRG's ZvT is less scary than EffOrt's, though still good. PartinG -> sOs. PvPartinG. Teamkill. Group of death. Only other choice is Flash. PartinG is a crazy mofo. Stats -> EffOrt. Same logic as Reality's pick. Stats is on a PvZ tear and he has crushed EffOrt every time they have met. Solar -> Cure. No real choice - everyone else is a nightmare. Cure -> Soulkey. He won't choose a terran - it's much better to only prepare for two matchups. EffOrt -> INnoVation. He might choose Flash for the fantasy BW rematch, but otherwise it has to be a terran for EffOrt's best matchup. sOs -> Rain. sOs doesn't give a fuck. He'll be happy to teamkill SKT and escape the group of death with Maru. DRG -> Flash. DRG can't catch a fucking break. For groups of... Zest/Solar/Cure/Soulkey soO/Reality/DRG/Flash Maru/PartinG/sOs/Rain TRUE/Stats/EffOrt/INnoVation I hope to god there are no 4Z groups, but am at least glad there won't be a 4SKT or 4JA group. | ||
