I must be confused about the dates, but I think nearly every tourney map allowed forge expand and it was the standard meta in 2012. Maybe not in early 2012 though. | ||

Good old times ^^. I remember the roach max times too, and the BL infestor time. Honestly, as much nostalgia I can have when I think about those times, there is little denying PvZ has made pretty big steps ahead since those times ! And gate expands were pretty much very standard from the very first days of HotS, though FFE/cannon rushes are still there and holding strong ! As for myself, I don't think I forge expanded once in PvZ since HotS came out. | ||
