Taeja's banshee control was suspect. His widow mine micro was below par. His marine splits was just ok, nothing spectacular. His hellion control was nonexistent. He never filled his third base bunker. Etc etc etc. Lots of mistakes. Seems like rust from a lack of practice.

This week has been a bad week for me. HerO and Snute lost in Destiny I tournament. Amaz bombs out of the WEC qualifiers. Now Taeja is out of this one. Can it get any worse?

Not sure. The foreign scene has historically had lower amounts of terrans, and higher amounts of zerg, but Taiwan and Oceania seem to be extremes even so. I'd have to hazard that since the scenes are so isolated and relatively small, good zerg players early in their existence would encourage other players in that region to play zerg until we reach such a racial imbalance.

They invited 2 Terrans and 2 Zergs. They qualified the top 8 Taiwanese players over the course of the year in TeSL. They then held qualifiers, in which Leenock, Departure, Pet, and TRUE won seeds in the tournament.

Haha ok. Well, it ruined much of the VOD. Most games weren't there anyway. Static AD screens instead of JD, and jumped into game2 of leenock taeja mid-late action.

He moved out several times and lost quite a bit I think, and was economically damaged quite a lot.

Last year's global season finals showed it too. Mvp going top4 in Korea, Bomber winning season 2, Jaedong going to the finals at Blizzcon. Kespa players never dominate weekend tournaments (Flash at DH, Bbyong at IEM, Stork at HSC etc.).
Korea is by far the strongest region, because they have a hundred players as good as the best 5 players in EU and NA, but those top 5 players can go toe to toe with the best KeSPA Koreans imo.

Hm if Slam had preserved all his roaches and just danced around while using his long distance mining base he maybe could've made it. They had almost equal army supply.
THAT is a big upset. Slam, who qualified for Challenger all 3 seasons this year, who is IN WCS America Premier League, just got knocked out Round 1, by a Spider player.

They really know how to make the breaks perfect. Bracket on screen, countdown to when break ends, good music and a pretty girl. Other tournaments should take note

Holy crap Sen playing some of the best ZvT I've seen in the last months. Such a well played game, you have to be so careful and know exactly where to take your fights playing that super high drone style.

Both Jaedong and Bomber dissapointed me by those games, but its cool for the home crowd. Thoguh I would still put my money on HyuN for this(for tomorrow)
i got a feeling that breaker is made for hosting tournaments not casting them, don't mean to be offensive but he is just doing better at hosting so far
