1 supply Roaches were removed in beta. I was thinking a map with just "go live" 1.0 state of the game.


But Roaches were really bad there... like... REALLY useless. They were basically a Melee unit back then, which cost a lot and did no dmg at all. :-P
I don't think Zerg could win a game today with this state of the game, tbh.

And in PvZ they'd die to any kind of early gateway push, because the research was done so ridiculously fast.

I believe so. CrunCher was great at making Idra go full rustle.


The best was Idra and Incontrol casting a Cruncher series in some tournament. That commentary was priceless.

I found the instance of him flipping off MC, but the one I am thinking of he is actually on stage and they were playing on tables rather than in booths.
