Now can someone explain me the point of herO's fast expand? he forces rain to be agressive. he knows everything he has to do is to defend this nexus and he has this game pretty much because he has double probe production. rain knew it as well, he went to kill the nexus, realised it's not going to happen and his last possibility was the dark shrine, which won him the game Surely Rain could have expanded as well given how early the Nexus was built and scouted? Yeah, but once you're set on your path of tech then you usually don't deviate Yeah, I mean before the Council; unless my memory fails me Rain's Probe scouted the Nexus, then he decided to go Council to all-in. That's what I don't understand with herO's decision to fast expand, to me it seems it gives Rain two options: a) reactively expand himself for an even game; b) reactively all-in with the tech of his choice. The thing with fast expand PvPs is that you always get tech behind it really fast. So it forces the opponent to either take a slightly behind spot (tech won't be far ahead, expand will be behind) or all in where, even if they kill the nexus, the game doesn't necessarily end. They might not even be ahead if they kill the nexus. This doesn't make sense. The one pulling an all in has more probes, faster tech and more units and the fast expander has lost 400 minerals The probe count is usually quite even because the all inner cuts probe production. Tech is NOT much faster as you saw this game. herO's blink finished only slightly after Rain's and his unit count was even as well. And, of course, he's got defender's advantage with overcharge. The unit count isn't even. Rain was building a dt shrine, lost his msc and still won a fight with DAMAGED stalkers outside herO's natural... The last fight before the dt warpin shows all thats wrong with fast expands... Show nested quote +On July 22 2014 20:51 Pandemona wrote:
11 vs 11 stalkers DARK SHRINE COMPLETES!! ROBO STARTS AS DT WARPED IN
herO cancelled his robo because he thought he needed more units, then got supply blocked when it mattered most. Had he made the right calls, he would've won the game.
Yeah he cancelled the robo ages ago? He didn't cancel the 2nd robo? Well if he did i missed that one xD He got supply blocked when he needed the Obs?

We really need to ask Rain but im pretty sure he sacrificed his mothership to see if herO had a robo or no.

iloveoov and PartinG hugging Rain in the end with soO smiling in 32 teeth is just best thing i've seen whole season. What a team.

If it's not included in the last game's VOD is there a way to watch the winner's interview? Apart from subscribing and watching on TwitchVOD

Dziękuję which means thank you

That was just a sick series! Hopefully, KT vs. Jin Air will be just as good. Rooting for Jin Air.

Damn, some really good games in these games between SKT and CJ. Shame that CJ was so close to winning, but failed at the very end. Looking forward to Jin Air vs KT!

Yeah absolutely insane how close it was. I leaned more towards SKT but would have been fine with CJ advancing as well, just for the fighting spirit and massive improvement they showed over the course of the whole season.
Jin Air would be great in the finals too, but thanks to the massive SKT/KT rivalry I think KT advancing would be the most hype combo

The sad part is that I doubt we're going to see any series as good as this for the rest of the postseason
Jin Air's B-Team is way better than KT's, and SKT is gonna drub Jin Air, and Jin Air's coach isn't Coach Park so I'm not expecting any killer snipe builds.
I don't wanna be pessimistic/egotistic but it's just a bummer that what feels like SKT's closest competitor with current form in mind is out before the finals T-T

When you have arguably top-3 for every race in your team and other Code S players like Rogue/Cure are not your top-3, you're ok.
So Ryu Won will have his shot in finals.

Rofl... Translation of Rain's winner interview:
I practiced against mech by playing against FanTaSy hyung. But as it turned, Bbyong's mech was worse than FanTaSy hyung's so the win was rather easy compared to practice.
SHOTS = FIRED and FanTaSy is SKT's next hope apparently.

Coach Park is an idiot. Hush goes nexus first and loses. Bbyong goes that stupid mech build for a third time. And then with everything on the line, early expand in PvP. He might be good at developing talent but his gameplans sucked big time.

Yeah, this loss has to be blamed on coaching staff
