But if you wanna get there skillwise there is no point in not starting of with micro and macro/BO exercises and get better with it step by step. It is going to be a bit harder to get out of bronze/silver at the beginning, but once you know your game and know a bit how to read the opponent you almost jump over leagues. Started off with like 50 apm, just learning and repeating every click of my BO, reading oponent at the right second etc. Because Bronze/Silver/Gold players are harder to read (because they are doing shit, not BOs) I also learned to read games pretty good while keeping to my BO or adapting it a little bit to their style. When I finally got out of bronze I almost jumped over some leagues and ended up in top 8 diamond several seasons in a row (terran) until I finally made it into masters. With pure macro builds, multiharass, etc. No cheese. I also did some replay analyzing like Day9 would recommend, asked some players online after a match if they wanna train special builds etc. Then I started other races, because I reached my skill ceiling and ofc you don't start at bronze level there. Think it took me 2 weeks for Zerg to be "high plat" (if that exists), and with toss I made it immidiately into masters, although there I did rely on a lot of "bullshit" or "cheese" because well that is also a bit how that race is designed and that is what annoys me the most about it and that is what I wanted to prove to myself is easy to do with toss. However a straight up game with toss (like rain would play it) is harder then I thought, however to me (personal opionion) it is the least exciting race to play. | ||
