Well I would assume they're looking for bigger sponsors. That's what every team does.
But big sponsors don't always matter, look at woongjin and STX

What has happened to MKP ? He was so a legend back in 2010 ! Its such a pain now to watch him play and get outclassed by everyone ! Maybe time for him for retirement ? Or Broodwars converted players were just too good ? I think I understand why europe and NA are invaded by Koreans players, they just have no chance in ProLeague, MKP should do same and make some money overseas..

Well..
1) He took a quite long break from sc2 to play LoL.
2) A lot of top players now are kespa players.
3) Some (few) NA KR players would actually be very good in KR aswell but they wouldn't be the best ones probably (I mean not as good as maru, soulkey, zest, soo, rain etc.).
