MLG is just a terrible organization full of incompetents. I really don't know how anyone can defend them anymore. Back in 2010 we didn't know any better, but 4 years later they still disappoint. Even the worst production can be salvaged by just showing good games but they manage to fuck up even that. Maybe if we are too mean to them they will drop SC2 without a word again, but when the bigger eSports who can do better than MLG inevitably stop giving a fuck about them they will end up being left in the dust.

I'm kinda glad that Jaedong is out. Don't have to be frustrated when he completely fails in the top 8 now.

There are so many amazing games being played in open bracket, and we're stuck watching games from 2010 because MLG, for whatever reason, refuses to allow community members to stream their games.... So many poor decisions from MLG it just blows my mind.
I think they just don't want to be bothered with it. It's probably not worth even the brain cells for them to think about it or bother to arrange it. Not being cynical, just realistic. All MLG cares about is money and community casters offer nothing with regards to ROI.
Also, I'm speculating since I've been away for a while, but I'm guessing that MLG probably has a contract from Blizzard that justifies the return of the SC2 broadcast. Certainly it's not our viewer numbers that they're after, which are abysmal at the moment. And it's certainly not their concern to please our somewhat niche community.
