It sounds a good game. hm you could just buy it now and play when you have more time because Dark Souls can be a pretty heavy commitment (of time and nerves). Or just try around and see if you get hooked. It can be very frustrating but the bigger the challenge the more rewarding it feels to finally win that fight. Also remember that Dark Souls 1 is a pretty terrible PC-port (and best played with a controller even though mouse+keyboard is possible).
