Well, it's a mix of trashtalk, hyping, being a die-hard fan, etc. But I do think it does bring some hype going into each match that Acer plays ("can Team X finally break the streak?).

The thing with the trashtalk is that while it can seem antagonistic, it's important that everyone realizes that it's all in good fun. Need to have passionate fans, and rivalries really help ignite passions.
