Polt vs Revival has the potential to be a pretty good matchup. Hopefully Polt can pull through though and win his 3rd WCS AM in a row this season

I am a bit worried for Polt. He can run into trouble if the zerg manages to stall his push while backstabbing, due to his limited speed compared to other top terrans. Revival actually exploited this very well in one of their IEM(?) final games, and Vortix has recently showed just how powerful mutas are for this job.

Tanks are terrible on this map with Bio. It's so open, they are incredibly easy to flank.
Revival's strategy in general works a lot better here than it would on a map like Yeonsu or Frost where Polt could take advantage of choke points.

You guys obviously haven't done any casting.
Nathanias is there for play by play. Ret is there for high level analysis otherwise known in sport's casting as the "color commentator".
When the game is going like that one was with non-stop action for about 15 minutes at the end there you have two options. Let the play by play guy do it, or let Ret try and do the play by play which he might not be comfortable doing.
9\10 if you see one guy take over a broadcast the way Nathanias did it's with his co-caster's consent. If you're the co-caster and you don't want to be shut out of a broadcast there are MANY ways to let your co-caster know, either during the broadcast or in between the matches.

I would have loved to see Captain Poltmurica take the title for a third time, but Revival was just better today. He is in tip top shape, good to see him do so well after being shafted by EG.

Revival's play was incredibly well rounded this series, I have to say. Even his late game, which I thought was the weakest part of his ZvT was pretty on point in game 3.

The interesting thing about teamkill games is that both players really know each other's weaknesses. That completely changes the dynamics of the games they'll play. You could clearly see that Revival knew very well how Polt plays (Polt, on the other hand, just did what he usually does).

Yea this pairing was pretty whacked. It was nice during the early game as they bounced predictions off one another, but once it action happens Ret probably got in like <5 mins of casting.

I just realized that Arthur's only PvP this season has been against the hero that Taiwan deserves. Other than this, it was a Zergin Challenger, a Terran in the R032 Winner's Match, then Zerg-Terran-Zerg in the Ro16.

Hallucinated probes are really fragile though. A single stalker could eliminate them all, while hallucinated stalkers are more resiliant, so its not completely clear cut that probes are better.

It would have been. TLO, Dimaga, Stephano at season 1, Scarlett, Welmu, Naniwa, Grubby at season 2, Vortix at season 3. However, we can't be sure none of the EU foreigners would have won the consolation bracket for 5th so there might have been a foreigner there had there been a season finals this season.

oh wow I completely forgot about the global finals already haha. Too bad for Bomber that he forfeited his qualifier spot but it's understandable since he would have had to play from Europe on the KR server

Not sure how this is the case. If you look at WCS AM, all these players won in Ro8 (obviously). But also interesting, Oz and Alicia was in the same Ro32 group as well as HyuN and Revival. And Oz and HyuN was in the same Ro16 group as well as Alicia and Revival.
And in the Ro16 group, both P came out first (Oz didn't get to play HyuN head to head but Alicia did beat Revival). And none of the players have been tearing it up in other tournaments recently. So if you go by momemtum, it would be something like Alicia > Oz > HyuN > Revival.

Oh wow that's right I forgot the GSL Global Finals. Kind of disappointed in who NA will be sending overall, since I can't see them beating any of the top players from KR. EU on the other hand has the potential to send some great representatives who may go far
