No offense to soO or Zest, but man, I would've preferred almost anyone else from the top 8. Oh well, they're certainly in fine form this season and deserve it.

Boredom in ZvZ is mostly in roach engagements, otherwise the match-up seems like it has many different openings, exciting zergling and baneling engagements, different end game strategies, counter attacks, economic risks, multitasking, army positioning. I think if Blizzard wanted to they could turn it into a good match-up in LotV.

Anyway, I'm happy soO won, never liked Life too much. I just hope he won't self-immolate in the finals again. (soO and Roro for favorite zergs)

Ugh, for the second season in a row, my least favourite finals possibility becomes a reality. I would've been happy with any of the other 3 players from either bracket, but this is so anti-hype again.

Blows my mind that soO of all people made 2 consecutive GSL finals.

This is like Dear vs Soo final all over again.
Soo made 2 consecutive finals. Few players ever done that. This guys deserves much more attention than this.
He should be sent out to international scene more.

surprised it wasn't even mentioned by the casters that soO's one of the very few who made two consecutive GSL finals...
and there's only 3 of them a year now and not 11 like when Nestea did it, so it's very impressive.
Hoped for Life tho, would've made Zest entire season a championship-slayer season. At least he can keep on bashing SKT

Today's faceless korean becomes tomorrow's fan favorite. The problem is sc2 is so volatile. Since the game is so coin flippy in mirror matchups and all-ins are so strong, no one can dominate for longer than a month or two, tops. THAT is the main problem with sc2. The faceless koreans are boring, because their interview responses are so generic, but i recall Soo's interview when he faced dear in the finals were quite funny.
