I do think soO has a pretty good chance vs Zest, don't forget that he stomped Parting, Parting only took a single game off him because of a silly mistake by soO.
Also, Zest has a ton of momentum, but also tons of Proleague games out there for soO and all the SKT T1 Protosses to study (especially since they don't have Proleague playoffs to prepare for lololol (sorry for the reminder SKT T1 fans)).

soo has a 10-5 record in ZvP this year with bo wins over parting trap and sos. so i would say soo has a good chance aginst zest. (although there is one pl loss to zest but its only one..)

Yeah. soO has got two finals appearance in a row. Life has won many titles (GSL, IS2, MLG), in a row.
There's a huge gap between getting to the finals and winning it (ask JD, heh).
I'm not arguing about who's better in their current shape (I think soO is a bit higher).
But Life sure knows how to win when it matters. He's the only one to win with a comeback against Mvp in a GSL finals. He won IS2 4 - 3 vs DRG after being down 0 - 3.
That also counts. inb4 soO been REKT in the finals. I don't think Life would've won the finals, but I sure as hell think he wouldn't have looked as dismantled as soO is going to look in my opinino, even though I think soO has a better ZvP.
