This reminds of me of roach play in ZvT. Can be strong and you can get extremely ahead in army supply, but you can't break a defense with a wall and the hellions/roaches quickly become useless supply (at least for straight up engagements they are close to useless for how much supply they take up and how much they cost).

Harstem won the game actually. Dayshi started the blue flame research at 35 minutes, something like that.


rofl yeah I forgot, the helions still wrecked shit at the start though

How did Dayshi get to 199/199 supply? I didn't think that was possible mathematically.

nah he was not. He got to the finals on the back of tvp/tvt. And pulled out some great prepared builds (hidden CC, wonky Stim Timings) and inspired plays out for one bo7


The TvP and TvT that he played leading up to the finals were pretty trash all things considered. I watched those games, and they legitimately justified Artosis' "never ever gonna happen" prediction. ;p

Believe it or not, the statistics say that his TvZ has literally always been his best match-up since 2011, sometimes by a large margin, sometimes by a lesser one but still.



If you see the stats most of his games are against no so good zergs and against very good terran or protoss. As an example he hasnt defeat any top korean zerg this year (except you consider Hydra being one).


That's not a bad argument, but at the same time he's also played a lot of not-top T/P, and the some of the ones he lost to are far from his skill level imo. (Ghost - formerly known as Gun -, Mekar, Monty)



Most of those games were bo1 except ghost and he defeated Dear 3 times in bo3, stardust, patience (and didnt lost a single bo3 against non korean toss in 2014)
