I feel like it's a little bit like offensive gg, in sports it's loser who initiates the handshake. However, korean winners always do it first so it's ok in Korea i guess | ||

It's seen as very respectuous and high sportmanship. And in tennis matches, the winner always wait his/her opponent at the net for handshake/hug/kiss before shake hand with the referee. | ||
