nah he was not. He got to the finals on the back of tvp/tvt. And pulled out some great prepared builds (hidden CC, wonky Stim Timings) and inspired plays out for one bo7


The TvP and TvT that he played leading up to the finals were pretty trash all things considered. I watched those games, and they legitimately justified Artosis' "never ever gonna happen" prediction. ;p

Believe it or not, the statistics say that his TvZ has literally always been his best match-up since 2011, sometimes by a large margin, sometimes by a lesser one but still.



If you see the stats most of his games are against no so good zergs and against very good terran or protoss. As an example he hasnt defeat any top korean zerg this year (except you consider Hydra being one).


That's not a bad argument, but at the same time he's also played a lot of not-top T/P, and the some of the ones he lost to are far from his skill level imo. (Ghost - formerly known as Gun -, Mekar, Monty)

Well Bunny and Dayshi are basically the est foreign terrans right now, maybe Major. That's not very impressive, not to take anything away from them they are all good, but none of them has achieved much results, especially agaist koreans.


MajOr has results in tvt vs kor (two times taeja, bbyong).


He almost beat jjakji in the Vasacast Invitational. Extremely close series, especially considering cross-server NA-EU latency.

i want to see his mech vZ against some decent kor :p


These days I'd say his TvZ is his weakest match-up, which is a bit surprising to be honest.
