I don't think the winner takes all concept was the real reason for the numbers to cross a 100k. The games for the past 2 days have been very good and the SC2 finals are played in a lead up to the LoL finals.

We don't know if they agreed to split or partially split the prize before hand. sOs seems like the type to not do that. Anyway he does get 800 WCS points for second which is a lot.

Just a fyi you have to go by the viewers on the Stream page ie http://www.twitch.tv/esltv_sc2 not that one, it is heavily delayed and adds up the numbers funny compared to removing. (iirc this is how you can tell if theres a lot of viewer bots as well)

I disagree with the Winner Take All idea just on the principle that it screws over everyone else (and apparently is only used to increase entertainment value, rather than help the pro-gamers), regardless of how good or bad this final is. But this final certainly didn't help make the case for a WTA format lol.
